[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I love this forum! We have many children and have always found great name advice on here in the past.
We are currently expecting a baby in one month. We think it’s a boy, but our baby was shy at our latest ultrasound, so we are here for boy and girl name advice!
We currently have a [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_m]Braden[/name_m] a [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Lynne[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_u]Scott[/name_u], and [name_u]Austin[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u].
For boys we like [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_m]Bowen[/name_m].
For girls we like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f].

I love [name_m]Bowen[/name_m], and it’s cool that it has a personal association for you. I think [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] would make a good combo! [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] would also sound good, but it depends on which name you would prefer to be the first.
Out of the girl names you listed, [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] is my personal favorite. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] would work well.

Thank you! I love the name [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] because all of my boys’ names end with “n”, and so will this! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband, of course, prefers [name_u]Tyler[/name_u].
I love the name [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], too, with the nickname [name_f]Addy[/name_f].
I am open to other suggestions for girl names! This is tricky for me!
[name_m]Bowen[/name_m] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] are lovely!!

Thank you!!
I like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] for a girl. What about [name_f]Grace[/name_f] for a first name? I can’t think of a middle name to go with it, though!

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] would work as a first with your kids.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] from your list might work, but I’ll also suggest:
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] Eliza/Elizabeth
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Camille[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]

Definitely [name_f]Grace[/name_f] for a girl! [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] seems too close to [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Lynne[/name_f] and [name_f]Christine[/name_f] in my opinion and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] is way too similar to [name_f]Adele[/name_f] for my preferences (though it is a favorite of mine!)
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] fits in so nicely with [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]! On the shorter side, pretty and popular with similar sounds to [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and similar letters all around without being too matchy at all! I also like that it adds another “-e” ending name to balance out all the others ending in “-a”.
For a boy you have an “-in/-en” ending theme going that I’d hate to break at this point so I’d definitely say [name_m]Bowen[/name_m]!
Some other suggestions you may be interested in:
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] &
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Millie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
I really feel like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is the perfect choice though! Maybe [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Carol[/name_u] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]? [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] has a double biblical reference there if you’re interested in that as well. (grace is obvious & proverbs 18:10)
For a boy other options may be:
[name_m]Braden[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], [name_u]Austin[/name_u] &
[name_u]Landon[/name_u]
[name_u]Camden[/name_u]
[name_u]Declan[/name_u]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Weston[/name_m]
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u]
[name_m]Jason[/name_m]
[name_m]Jaxon[/name_m]
[name_u]Jackson[/name_u]
[name_u]Jayden[/name_u]
[name_u]Hayden[/name_u]

Thank you! I like the name [name_u]Mason[/name_u] as well but we have friends with a [name_u]Mason[/name_u] close in age.
I appreciate the suggestions, especially with the “n” ending!
I do appreciate the biblical reference to [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]. I think it is beautiful and flows well, also.
I find your comments helpful! Thank you so much!

[name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are my picks. I like [name_m]Bowen[/name_m], but since you already have a [name_m]Braden[/name_m] I think it’d be confusing. I like that all the kids have their own initials, so that’s a reason I didn’t pick [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f].

Of course! I agree with the comment about [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] and [name_m]Braden[/name_m] being pretty similar as well. There are lots of other -n ending names out there that would work very well though. Here’s some more;
[name_m]Caiden[/name_m]
[name_m]Cannon[/name_m]
[name_u]Carson[/name_u]
[name_u]Clayton[/name_u]
[name_m]Colton[/name_m]
[name_m]Dalton[/name_m]
[name_u]Dawson[/name_u]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
[name_u]Dillon[/name_u]
[name_u]Holden[/name_u]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Lawson[/name_m]
[name_u]Payton[/name_u]
[name_u]Peyton[/name_u]
[name_m]Waylon[/name_m]
I think my favorite suggestions are…
[name_m]Braden[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], [name_u]Austin[/name_u] &
[name_u]Holden[/name_u]
[name_m]Waylon[/name_m]
[name_u]Dawson[/name_u]
[name_m]Colton[/name_m]
[name_u]Carson[/name_u]
[name_u]Landon[/name_u]
[name_m]Dalton[/name_m]

[name_u]Tyler[/name_u] [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] can be a full name and I really like it with the ones you have.
For a girl, I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] can be a full name or something different.

Thank you! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] as a first name. I am, of course, torn with how much I like it along with our other kids’ names!
I love [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] if it’s a girl. I think I’m pretty sold on that one!

Thank you for the feedback! I forgot that [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] is very similar to [name_m]Braden[/name_m]. I have slight name regret for giving my son the first name [name_m]Braden[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Bowen[/name_m]. Oh well. [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] makes a lovely middle name, too!

Also, how do I creat a poll on this board? I didn’t see an option to add one, but I know that there’s a way.
Thank you so much!

When you make a post the “gear” icon is at the top right (just below the arrow pointing down). If you click on that it gives you the option to “build a poll.”

Thank you! I will add to this post.
I think the -ay and the -ow sound of [name_m]Braden[/name_m] and [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] are different enough that you could have both in the sibset without confusion! Visually they look similar, but vocally they’re much different imo. [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] seems like a real winner here!
If you want to avoid the boys having the same first initial though, I think [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] is equally handsome and fits really well with [name_m]Braden[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_m]Gavin[/name_m]!
And I 100% agree with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]! It’s gorgeous!!!

Thank you! We found out it’s a boy so we are looking into [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] [name_m]Bowen[/name_m]!
We are not concerned about similar initials between the brothers.
Thanks so much for your input!!
