anyway, i love names and youtube and i see this tag going a round a lot lately so i thought i would share! i’m going to leave the questions and write my answers down below for convenience sake. (also the hate questions are not meant to offend anyone)

  1. What is your favourite boy and girl’s name from the top UK names list (2016)?
    For a girl I would choose [name_f]Isla[/name_f] because I think it’s beautiful and if it’s popularity died down I would love to use it. For a boy my favourite is either [name_m]Albert[/name_m] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u], I can’t decide!

  2. What is your least favourite boy and girl’s name from the top UK names list (2016)?
    this really isn’t to offend anyone it’s just my opinion, however for a girl i would choose [name_f]Martha[/name_f] and for a boy I will say [name_u]Seth[/name_u], for no particular reason.

  3. If you had twins, what would you name them? (G/G, B/B, B/G)
    G/G would be [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Bryony[/name_f], i like how they both have “nature” meanings in some way.
    B/B would be [name_m]Stellan[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], my all time favourite boys name.
    B/G would be [name_m]Stellan[/name_m] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] because i think they sound gorgeous together.

  4. If you could change your name to anything, what would it be?
    I suppose i would change my name to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] because it is my middle name and my parents call me [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] more than my actual name.

  5. You have 4 children, any gender. Their first names all have to start with the same letter. What would their names be?
    This might be a cop-out by I really love A names so… [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Arden[/name_u], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Albert[/name_m]. 2 of each gender! however the girls names are very unisex.

  6. What’s your favourite animal-inspired name?
    For girls I love [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] and for boys I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u], however I like it on both genders.

  7. What’s your favourite colour-inspired name?
    Definitely [name_f]Violet[/name_f]!

  8. What are your top 3 favourite boy names?
    Currently I adore [name_m]Stellan[/name_m], [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_m]Ivan[/name_m].

  11. What is your ultimate guilty pleasure name?
    [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] and [name_u]Presley[/name_u]. I think I could incorporate [name_u]Presley[/name_u] as a middle name but [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] just doesn’t seem to work for me even though I love it.

  12. What are your most hated baby names?
    I don’t “hate” any names but I have a negative association with “-mae” names and the spelling of [name_m]Sean[/name_m] irritates me for some unknown reason.

  13. Choose a baby name based on a food/drink
    This is a bit of cheating but I can’t choose! I love [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u], for boys I think [name_m]Chip[/name_m] is quite charming.

    100% [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]! [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. However [name_u]January[/name_u] is really cool to me.

    [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] used to be my absolute favourite name and I still think it’s gorgeous.
