These are just baby names I have seen announced online starting January 1 to today!

GIRLS:
Brady Rene
Genevieve Kay
Grace Elizabeth
Olivia
Eden Rose
Madden

BOYS:
Lucas Reed
Gates Zev
Dawson Dimitri Brady
Benjamin Lee
Oliver Mark
Timber Mark
Louis Michael
Stratton Lee

My takeaways: The girls names seemed very traditional to me! Only a few untraditional names: Brady and Madden. The boys I was more interested to see Mark twice - I just associate it with my uncle Mark who is in his 60s so it’s surprising to see it on little ones! Timber is also the only one where it seems unusual to me!

The couple originally did not have [name_u]Brady[/name_u] but the baby was born the day after [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] announced his retirement - so they added it!

Fun! Here are my thoughts-

GIRLS:

[name_u]Brady[/name_u] Rene-Eh…not my style. [name_m]Way[/name_m] too trendy & boyish. And the combo doesn’t even flow well.

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] Kay-That is my style, but I still just can’t get on board with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. It sounds snooty to me. It’s a perfectly nice classy name though.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] Elizabeth-Same as above, basically. Although [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is more over done.

Olivia-I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is gorgeous, even though it’s so darn popular.

[name_u]Eden[/name_u] Rose-That’s kind of sweet. I like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] more in theory, because it sounds so peaceful more than I actually like saying it.

Madden-No, thanks.

BOYS:

[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] Reed-Totally fine, just a bit ho-hum.

[name_m]Gates[/name_m] Zev-Gates is sort of odd…I like [name_m]Zev[/name_m]! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though this combo is choppy.

[name_u]Dawson[/name_u] [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] Brady-Interesting mns…I don’t mind [name_u]Dawson[/name_u].

[name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] Lee-Benjamin is a beautiful classic.

[name_u]Oliver[/name_u] Mark-Oliver is fine. A bit too popular, but cute.

[name_u]Timber[/name_u] Mark-Kind of not that nice sounding for a name to me.

[name_m]Louis[/name_m] Michael-Ooh, that’s fun.

[name_m]Stratton[/name_m] Lee-Sounds kind of like a punk rocker. Which is fun…but I don’t know if I like the idea of a little boy called [name_m]Stratton[/name_m]. I guess it’s different.
