I do this every so often since I think it’s interesting - but here are some baby names I saw announced on social media in [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u]!
BOYS:
[name_u]Bennett[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u]
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Smoke[/name_m] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m]
[name_u]Lane[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u]
[name_m]Allan[/name_m] [name_u]Robert[/name_u]
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Jon[/name_m]
With boys I ALWAYS see the trend of trendy/modern first names (Bennett, [name_u]Nolan[/name_u], [name_u]Lane[/name_u], Shepherd) mixed with classic middles (Joseph, [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_u]Robert[/name_u], Jon). [name_m]Smoke[/name_m] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] is totally out of left field and I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of [name_m]Smoke[/name_m] but the whole name does flow nicely. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite out of these is [name_u]Lane[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u]!
GIRLS:
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaycie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_u]Haven[/name_u]
Scottlynn
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] Brey
[name_u]Ivy[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
With girls we VERY often see one syllable middles (Dawn, [name_f]Jane[/name_f], Brey, [name_u]Lou[/name_u], Mae). [name_f]Girl[/name_f] first names kind of feel all over the place but there are some classics in there (Charlotte and Brooklyn). The “e” sound ending mixed with the one syllable middle is a trendy way to get a cutesy girl name that so many people seem to sought after. [name_f]Kaycie[/name_f] and Scottlynn seem like the outliers here (Kaycie by spelling and Scottlynn by just the name to be honest), but the rest seem like pretty on trend choices!
