Baby names that are also products or companies

Can people think of any others? Are these names usable?

Porche ([name]Portia[/name])
[name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniels[/name]

I know someone with all but 2 of these names, and none of them find it to be a problem.

[name]One[/name] of my favourites is [name]Sephora[/name]. For a boy, the name [name]Levi[/name] comes to mind.

[name]Pandora[/name], like the Internet radio, too.

  • [name]Burton[/name]

  • [name]Lincoln[/name]

  • [name]Callaway[/name]

  • [name]Lux[/name] (a brand of soap available decades ago)

  • [name]Dawn[/name] (Dish detergent)

  • [name]Lee[/name] (Jeans)

  • [name]Essie[/name] (Nail Polish)

  • [name]Dove[/name]

  • [name]Bliss[/name] (cosmetic company)

  • [name]Bebe[/name] (Women’s clothing retailer)

Those are just a few I can think of at the moment…

It’s [name]Porsche[/name].
The car was named after [name]Mercedes[/name] the girl, not the other way around.
I have a student named [name]Allegra[/name].

I would say it depends on the name and who has it, for instance [name]Mercedes[/name] in a spanish speaking country doesnt seem that unusual but in the states it does sound like its car inspired even though it might not be. The [name]Porsche[/name] argument is sort of invalid as miloowen said, [name]Porsche[/name] and [name]Portia[/name] are not the same name.

I love [name]Flora[/name] but its the name of a popular butter spread here so I don’t think its usable :frowning:

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Daniels[/name] is a silly name because everyone references it to the alcohol, and no one uses [name]Daniels[/name] as a given name. Surname, yes, first/middle? Not so much.

[name]Bailey[/name] is fine.
[name]Wendy[/name] is more than fine.
[name]Allegra[/name] is alright.

There’s also:
[name]Arista[/name] (Record label)
[name]Stetson[/name] (cowboy hat brand or something)
