In the last 6 months I have lost my grandma and grandpa that both helped raise me. I am wanting to name my next baby after them because they were so special to me, but I’m needing some ideas. Team green, so needing a name for both. Their names were [name_m]Billy[/name_m] [name_m]Frank[/name_m] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. Thank you!
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss

Other ways you could honor your grandparents that are a little more subtle could be:
[name_f][/name_f]- [name_f][/name_f]
- Choosing a name based on the meaning of their names (ex. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] & [name_m]Charlie[/name_m] mean “free man” just like [name_m]Frank[/name_m] & [name_f]Frances[/name_f], etc) [name_f][/name_f]
- Naming your child after something they loved (ex. [name_f]Wren[/name_f], if they loved birdwatching, or [name_m]Ace[/name_m] if they loved playing cards with you, etc) [name_f][/name_f]
Very best of luck, hope this helped!
I think all these names are usual nowadays. Billy Frank is a cool name with potential to create a cool girl combination something like Billie Francesca would be gorgeous. Billie would be a lovely girl option she’s playful, spunky and fashionable. Other ideas to honour Billy could be Wilhelmina, Willow, Willa, William, Willoughby or Willis. Other names that I think could work may be Millie, Romilly, Jill or something with the B starting initial like Bentley, Beckett or Bellamy. Regarding M names to honour Mary maybe Marianne, Marisol, Marina, Mariella or for boys Myles, Micah, Malachi or Marius could work. However Both your grandparents have middle names that are related to each other so you could draw tons of inspiration such as Francesca, Franklin, Frances/Francis or Frankie. I actually think using the middle name as a way to honour both your grandparents would be the best solution.
So sorry for your loss

I love [name_m]Frankie[/name_m] for a girl and it honors both terrific grandparents.
Your grandparents sound wonderful and they have beautiful names to work with as honours. I know I’m just a random stranger on the internet but I’m sending you lots of love in this early stage of your loss.
[name_f][/name_f]Here are some ideas:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Martina[/name_f] ~ if you like long, elegant names, this one is familiar but not overused.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marsaili[/name_f] ~ a Scottish beauty.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marty[/name_f] ~ I know a little boy named this after his grandad [name_m]Martin[/name_m], but I think it works as a [name_f]Mary[/name_f] sound-alike too.
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Fran[/name_f] ~ if you like the nicknamey style
[name_m]Billy[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Billie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Willem[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Willene[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_m]Frank[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f]Focussing on the positive aspects of frank as a word-name [name_f][/name_f]- honest, candid [name_f][/name_f]- here are some ideas, perhaps as middles:
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]True[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Truman[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Honor[/name_f], [name_f]Honora[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Candace[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Ernest[/name_m]
[name_m]Billy[/name_m] [name_m]Frank[/name_m] & [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]:
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Boy[/name_m]:
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Brayden[/name_m] [name_m]Michael[/name_m] (initials BM)
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Francis[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Francis[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Frankie[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_f]Girl[/name_f]:
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bailey[/name_m] [name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Billie[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Blair[/name_f] “Frankie”
[name_m]Francis[/name_m] or [name_m]Finn[/name_m] for a boy. [name_f]Frances[/name_f] for a girl.
i’m so sorry for your loss
for a little girl, how about frannie willamae[name_f][/name_f]? frannie[name_f][/name_f] from frank and frances, willa[name_f][/name_f] from billy, and mae[name_f][/name_f] from mary!
and for a sweet boy, i’m thinking wilmer frank[name_f][/name_f]. wil-[name_f][/name_f] and -mer[name_f][/name_f] being for billy and mary and then frank[name_f][/name_f] for frank and frances.
[name_m]Frank[/name_m] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] both have the same Name heritage so maybe
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Francis[/name_m] and use a first or middle Name that you like
