What do you think about these names for my baby?
Girl:
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Sophia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Ryley[/name] [name]Emma[/name] [name]Sky[/name]
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] - I love both these names, but something about the flow together is off. I think it’s the vowel ending/beginning together.
[name]Sophia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] - [name]Love[/name]! [name]Sophie[/name]/[name]Sophia[/name] is quite popular, but that’s my only objection.
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Blue[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name]. I like how contemporary [name]Blue[/name] makes [name]Stella[/name].
[name]Ryley[/name] [name]Emma[/name] [name]Sky[/name] - I am not a [name]Riley[/name] fan, but prefer the i spelling anyway. I like [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Sky[/name] together though.
[name]Ryan[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name] - I think this is a bit close to [name]River[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name]
[name]Ryan[/name] [name]Harvey[/name] - These two work well together, I like. Although it does remind me of [name]Brian[/name] [name]Harvey[/name], who was the lead singer in a 90s boy band here in the UK.
[name]Kristian[/name] [name]Gage[/name] - I prefer the [name]Christian[/name] spelling, but [name]Gage[/name] works well with it as a mn.
[name]Bryan[/name] [name]Garrison[/name] - [name]Bryan[/name] is very dated to me. Like the mn.
My vote is for [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] and [name]Ryan[/name] [name]Harvey[/name].
I think [name]Stella[/name] [name]Blue[/name] is great, so spunky and modern
If it was my daughter I would choose [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name]. [name]Every[/name] name nerd will go away from [name]Sophie[/name] because it is popular but it is a beautiful name, and I love [name]Aurora[/name], so cool. I can see you want a nature element in your names.
I would go right away from the unisex [name]Ryley[/name] but [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Skye[/name] would be so beautiful and you get the nn of [name]Emmy[/name] or [name]Emma[/name], lovely.
I dislike all No names.
I like [name]Ryan[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name] or [name]Christian[/name] [name]Gage[/name]. I like [name]Christian[/name] [name]Gage[/name] because it is a smart, masculine, unusual combo, a handsome name.
I have always liked [name]Ryan[/name] but because so many have grown up with Ryans they are now looking for a different kind of name. If it were me I would be very happy to have a son named [name]Ryan[/name] and the [name]Phoenix[/name] just gives it a bit of spice.
Thanks for the opinions guys!
I love [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name], i’ve said since i was 15 that if i had a daughter her name would be [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name]!
but im now considering:
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Both[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] are very pretty. To me [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] sounds like one of those Renaissance paintings with a lot of golden clouds. [name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] sounds like a scarlet red cord with a lovely tassle.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Harvey[/name]. I don’t really like [name]Ryan[/name] because it is so common. [name]Love[/name] [name]Rowan[/name] more.
I really love [name]Stella[/name] [name]Blue[/name]!
I like [name]Christian[/name] spelled this way better for a boy. [name]Christian[/name] [name]Gage[/name] is very nice and my favorite from your boys list.
[name]Susan[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Harvey[/name] is so cool! I vote for that if ncsweetie likes it… (do you?)
From the rest, I like [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] better than [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name], simply because the flow of the vowels makes it sound like [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Rora[/name].
I also like [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] [name]Blue[/name] for girls, and [name]Christian[/name] (spelled this way) [name]Gage[/name] for a boy.
I really love the name [name]Ryan[/name] (even though it’s very common) becasue my brothers name is [name]Robert[/name] [name]Brian[/name], and my husbands middle name is [name]Ryan[/name], so it works!
I love [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name], and [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], the only thing with [name]Scarlett[/name] is that i would want her nick name to be Scar haha.
But as for the spelling of [name]Kristian[/name], i would keep the K because my friend who has made such a huge impact in my life and is like a brother to me his name is [name]Kris[/name] and [name]Kris[/name] could be a nickname for [name]Kristian[/name]!
The more i think about [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] the more i love but my husband prefers [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] so i dont know :] haha
just thought of another one haha what do you think of Karalena [name]Victoria[/name]
nn’s could be [name]Kara[/name] or [name]Lena[/name] does the victory go with Karalena?
I’m so glad you posted that little key for us newbies. I always knew that DH was husband and that DD was daughter but could not for the life of me guess what the first D in all of them stood for so I started saying in my head “designated” just because i needed something to fill the void.
