Vote for your fav! Been playing around with different variations of our preferred 3 or so names.
First born is Leni Bloom. Looking for a name for our second baby girl. We have pretty particular taste and ultimately it boils down to my husband also agreeing, but still curious of what people here think/like the most.
Our last name is Rib@ck (pronounced Ry-back).
Our list right now is:
Francine Lee (hubby’s fav)
Lou Ines
Ines Lee (my fav!)
I like how [name_f]Ines[/name_f] is short and spunky like [name_f]Leni[/name_f] !! [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is a bit too close for me. [name_f]Francine[/name_f] is sweet, but vibes-wise I prefer [name_f]Ines[/name_f]!
I like [name_f]Ines[/name_f] best on its own, but [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] almost sounds like a combination of all the sounds in [name_f]Leni[/name_f] to me? I’m saying ee-NES, so maybe less so with a different pronunciation. [name_u]Lou[/name_u] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] would be my vote, I think!
Yes so actually different members/generations of the fam pronounce it differently! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and his parents say Ry-back, but my husbands grandparents say Ree-back. I find depending on the name combos I change it up with [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] I pronounce it Ree-back for a softer flow.
I adore the name [name_f]Ines[/name_f], and it’s kind of cute how it’s very nearly Leni’s name backwards!
[name_f]Leni[/name_f] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] feel very compatible but almost a little too compatible – maybe a little bit twee due to the matching initials and nicknamey feel.
[name_f]Francine[/name_f] is a great name but feels quite different in style. It could definitely work with a fun nickname like [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_f]Fifi[/name_f] or [name_f]Effie[/name_f] though
