Baby sister for Carter and Ruby (LAST CALL!)

Found out last night baby will likely come any time now! We have traveled to where our daughter will be born and we are waiting to get the call from her birth mother to tell us she’s in labor! SO exciting! Several of you have been helpful and kind to share your opinion already ( This is my last call for help as I am still feeling very unsure about this baby’s name. Please share your opinion about the following names with our last name([name]Hilton[/name]) and in conjunction with our other two childrens’ names ([name]Carter[/name] [name]Jesse[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Jane[/name]). Also, I am still open for any additional suggestions. THANK YOU in advance!

[name]Milia[/name] (nn [name]Millie[/name])
[name]Olive[/name] (nn [name]Liv[/name])

I love lots of the names on your list ([name]Milia[/name] and [name]Adelie[/name] are beautiful!) but if I think about which match the style of [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Carter[/name] most, without being too matchy (I think [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] is too much) then my favourites are:

[name]Ellie[/name] (though I prefer [name]Ella[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name])

[name]Do[/name] you have a middle name picked out or can it be one of the names off this list?

[name]Stella[/name] [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are all strong names and [name]Stella[/name] [name]Hilton[/name] is a strong name too, so this would be my choice with a fluffy feminine middle name.

Best wishes and please post when she is born.

rollo xx

Here are my favs in order of preference. Although I love [name]Lucy[/name] the most from your list, it’s too similar with [name]Ruby[/name]. Therefore, I choose the names that are the best matches with your children’s names, [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. Good luck to you!

1 [name]Stella[/name]
2 [name]Leila[/name]
3 [name]Hazel[/name]
4 [name]Olive[/name]

[name]Stella[/name] is still my favorite choice with [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. It’s elegant, yet spunky, just like [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. I know you said the baby’s birth mother was a fan of [name]Ellie[/name], which works well with [name]Stella[/name]. I’d probably call her S or something, but [name]Ellie[/name] works, too! [name]Stella[/name] [name]Joy[/name] was my first suggestion, just to continue the [name]Jesse[/name]-[name]Jane[/name]-J trend, but I also think it is just a really appropriate name for this wonderful experience you are getting.

My other favorites with [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are [name]Leila[/name] and [name]Molly[/name], though I don’t think either compares to Miss [name]Stella[/name]. Good luck and congratulations!

[name]Lemon[/name]

I love [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Carter[/name] as a sibset! My favorites for a sibset are [name]Delia[/name], [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Stella[/name]. I’m not a huge fan of [name]Adelie[/name] (though I think [name]Adele[/name] would be splendid), [name]Ellie[/name] (too nick-namey for me), [name]Lucy[/name] (doesn’t work with [name]Ruby[/name]), [name]Milia[/name] and [name]Olive[/name]. [name]Leila[/name] and [name]Molly[/name] work but aren’t my favorite. My absolute favorite as a name and as a part of the sibset is [name]Hazel[/name]! Spunky, quirky and with just the right mix of sass and elegance; it’s lovely. So my vote goes for [name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name]!

Good luck!

[name]Hazel[/name] gets my vote! molly is great too

[name]Adelie[/name] – NMS, plus I don’t think it sounds sibling-y
[name]Delia[/name] – I like this name a lot. [name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], and [name]Delia[/name] definitely sound like a sibset! [name]Delia[/name] [name]Hilton[/name] doesn’t flow for me though.
[name]Ellie[/name] – While I’m not a huge fan of [name]Ellie[/name], it’s cute. I think [name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], and [name]Ellie[/name] really go together well. [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Hilton[/name] isn’t bad. The only thing is that it is a bit nicknamey. [name]Do[/name] you have a longer form picked out? I like [name]Eliza[/name] with your siblings, although there are a bunch of choices to get to [name]Ellie[/name] ([name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Elise[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Ella[/name]…)
[name]Hazel[/name] – [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Hilton[/name] does not sound pretty to me at all.
[name]Leila[/name] – I really love the name [name]Leila[/name], but I think it is a whole different style from [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name].
[name]Lucy[/name] – [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Hilton[/name]…good. [name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], and [name]Lucy[/name]…okay. Not a name I particularly love, though it’s cute enough. [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] sound fune, but not sure I like [name]Ruby[/name] & [name]Lucy[/name].
[name]Milia[/name] (nn [name]Millie[/name]) – I like [name]Millie[/name] with [name]Carter[/name] & [name]Ruby[/name], but [name]Milia[/name] doesn’t get me at all. I’m pretty sure that is the name of the zit-like thing I had to have removed from my face one time! If not it was a similar word, but that’s what I thought of.
[name]Molly[/name] – [name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], & [name]Molly[/name] sounds cute together! [name]Molly[/name] [name]Hilton[/name] works. Nice!
[name]Olive[/name] (nn [name]Liv[/name]) – I just don’t care for this name at all.
[name]Stella[/name] – Not a fan of this name either. Although it does work in the sibset.

[name]Stella[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] are my favorites. The best of luck to you!

My favorites:
[name]Ellie[/name]- Although I would prefer as a nn but I think it can stand alone.

I like but not with [name]Hilton[/name]:
[name]Hazel[/name]- although I guess this could work.

Ones I dont think go with [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]:
[name]Lucy[/name]- too similar to [name]Ruby[/name]

my favourite is [name]Molly[/name]

I just got a message from our baby’s birth mother (just put on bedrest until due date in 6 days) saying her little girl suggested we name the baby [name]Loulou[/name]. I instantly loved it, not only because it’s adorable, but because my mother’s name is [name]Linda[/name] [name]Lou[/name], her mother’s [name]Lucia[/name], and her mother’s [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Maud[/name]. We were going to name our first daughter (now 15 months old) [name]Lucy[/name], but it didn’t suite her so we chose [name]Ruby[/name] instead. What do you think about incorporating [name]Lulu[/name]/[name]Loulou[/name] for our new little one? I think I like the idea of using it for a nn or mn. Suggestions with my list? Thanks!

[name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Louisa[/name] nn [name]Loulou[/name]?! I think that’s gorgeous!

If not, some other names [name]Loulou[/name] could be a nn for aside from [name]Lucy[/name] are:

[name]Lucia[/name] (to honour your mother)

Or maybe you could get away with any L name really? Im not keen on [name]Lucy[/name] with [name]Ruby[/name] but if you love it it’s not a big deal so you should use it! My favourites are [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Eloise[/name]/a and [name]Talullah[/name]

[name]Carter[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], and [name]Lucille[/name] - called [name]Lulu[/name]? [name]Love[/name] it!

[name]Lemon[/name]

My sis’s mn is [name]Lucille[/name] and I always thought she had lucked out in the name department till I saw [name]Lucille[/name] [name]Rose[/name] as a combo and then I started to appreciate it.

I love [name]Lulu[/name],it is such a fun and playful name but I prefer [name]Tallulah[/name] nn [name]Lulu[/name] or [name]Lucy[/name].

I still feel like [name]Stella[/name] is the best with [name]Carter[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name], plus you can still get the nickname [name]Ellie[/name] with [name]Stella[/name]. I’m also still pulling for [name]Stella[/name] [name]Joy[/name] (:

[name]Lulu[/name] would make an adorable nn. I would suggest [name]Louise[/name], [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Tallulah[/name], or [name]Lucia[/name]. You would also use [name]Louise[/name] as a mn and still call her [name]Lulu[/name] as a nn. Something like [name]Stella[/name] [name]Louise[/name] would be really sweet.

Coming from a [name]Lulu[/name]‘s mother here, i love it! [name]Carter[/name] ,[name]Ruby[/name] & [name]Lulu[/name] is amazing! Now, ours’ first name is [name]Tallulah[/name] nn [name]Lulu[/name] - you’re welcome to “steal” it! Or the other option which i’m surprised hasn’t been mentioned is [name]Luella[/name]. Combines both [name]Lulu[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name]! Plus…Carter, [name]Ruby[/name] & [name]Luella[/name] is TO DIE FOR :!:

Good luck!
