I’ve always loved the name [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. When I had a boy my husband really insisted on the name [name_m]Leon[/name_m]- which I agreed to and love. But now I’m expecting a little girl and would love to use [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. Is it too similar? Another favorite is [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. But again - we’re in the same boat. Thoughts? Suggestions for [name_m]Leons[/name_m] little sister?? [name_f]TIA[/name_f]!
I have a [name_m]Leon[/name_m] too! Great name! I’m expecting my second baby in Feb, surprise gender… I also love very similar names like [name_f]Lara[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]… I have decided not to use a name too similar… Still working on what names we might like… I’m avoiding L names this time… I’m loving lots of names beginning with E at the moment
[name_m]Leon[/name_m] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] does look and sound very matchy-matchy to me. Perhaps use it as a middle and opt for an equally gorgeous but different first name instead? Good luck! Xx
I like it, different vowels And not rhymy, same size name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] decide if you want them to share initials and if you had a third is this L name thing A theme… None of that is negative. I think its nice.
Not really a fan of siblings with the same letter, but it’s not a deal breaker. Both names are lovely, I don’t think they are TOO similar, they are both short, four letters, and share two letters, but have their own distinct sounds. [name_f]Lumi[/name_f], [name_f]Rumi[/name_f], Runa, [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Nova[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f], Lula, [name_f]Lux[/name_f] or [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] are some other ideas.
I think [name_f]Lola[/name_f] works as a sister name for [name_m]Leon[/name_m].
