We are expecting a girl for our number 2 and we’re pretty hung up on the name Alice. We also like the name Amelia but I wish it was a bit less popular. I love classic vintage names. A family name we love with Alice is Lucille but I’m not 100 percent sold yet. I need some ideas!
I think both [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be wonderful with [name_m]Miles[/name_m]; my favourite being [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] (with [name_m]Miles[/name_m]), I love how flow-y they sound together.
I really wouldn’t worry about popularity, it’s not like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is far behind, they’re both pretty popular (and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] has been more popular over time; so while she might not have another [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in her grade, you may know a few middle-aged women, a mom or two and a 14 year old, all named [name_f]Alice[/name_f]).
As for other names I think suit [name_m]Miles[/name_m], how about:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] (too [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]-ish?)
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
I quite like [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Have you considered [name_f]Emelia[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]?
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
If you are looking for a classical, British-type vibe, maybe [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f], [name_f]Martha[/name_f] or
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] would be a good fit.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is lovely!
I think that if you like the whole playful [name_m]French[/name_m] vibe with the middle, maybe go for
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Brigitte[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f]
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Francine[/name_f]
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Geraldine[/name_f]/[name_f]Gerardine[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgette[/name_f]
[name_f]Gisele[/name_f]
[name_f]Helene[/name_f]
[name_f]Heloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]/[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Marceline[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Martine[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Millicent[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Mireille[/name_f]
[name_f]Luella[/name_f]
[name_f]Nicolette[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelie[/name_f]/[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Paulette[/name_f]/[name_f]Pauline[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Pauline[/name_f]/[name_f]Paulette[/name_f]
[name_u]Simone[/name_u]
[name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]/[name_f]Violette[/name_f]/[name_f]Violetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]/[name_f]Viviette[/name_f]
(Sorry for the super-long list, I was inspired!)
Then again, if you like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], you should use it, it works just as well with [name_f]Alice[/name_f]!!
Best of luck,
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
