[name_m]Hi[/name_m] again, we are due on the first of the year with baby girl #2 and have our options narrowed down to these… big sister is [name_f]Caraline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] (Caroline with an a)
I like [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] [name_m]Noel[/name_m] the best! [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] and [name_f]Caraline[/name_f] sound better than [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] and [name_f]Caraline[/name_f] too me since [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] is more unisex while [name_f]Caraline[/name_f] is more feminine. [name_m]Noel[/name_m] is perfect for a [name_m]New[/name_m] Year baby since it’s part of the twelve days of [name_m]Christmas[/name_m]!
I think one of the Maggies - it’s a fun & enduring name - and also it means they get their own sounds while also both being twists on feminine & classic names (Caroline to Caraline and Margaret to Maggie).
Which Maggie depends on flow to last name but given its links to your sister & Xmas, I would go Maggie Noel. It’s also more enjoyable for me to say.
[name_f]Maggie[/name_f] [name_m]Noel[/name_m] is sooo cute. I was going to be named [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], actually.
I also think the sounds just flow best and there isn’t as much vowel repetition as the others.
[name_f]Maggie[/name_f] [name_m]Noel[/name_m] goes so well with sister’s name! (I love the spelling of her name btw). I love that [name_m]Noel[/name_m] has the connection to your sister and a nontraditional spelling somewhere in her name as well.
Thanks everyone for the reply’s! For some reason I just thought of a new name for the mix…Eliza. I probably shouldn’t be adding new names to our list at this point but we kinda like it and are going to sit on it for a few days. What do you guys think of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]?
