So I just realized something - everyone’s baby name style can basically be boiled down to one of the baby sitters club. For anyone who doesn’t know the baby sitters club is a book series turned Netflix series that basically every Millennial and Gen z grew up with about a group of tween girls starting a baby sitters club. I’m going to use girls names from the top 200 as examples
Basically -
Kristy names are your sporty , unisex surnames - think Reese , Hadley , Sloane and Harper
Mary Anne names are your traditional classics - think Caroline , Eleanor , Margaret and Hannah
Claudia names are your bohemian , quirky word names - think Nova , Genesis , Harmony and Paisley
Stacey names are your frilly and feminine names - think Eliana , Lucia , Genevieve and Magnolia
Dawn names are your modern nature names - think Luna , Skylar , Jade and River
Mallory names are your homey vintage names - think Juliet , Rosalie , Adeline and Vivian
Jessi names are your short and snappy names - think Maya , Remi , Eden and Lyla
Some names may fall into multiple categories but this basically covers it

Whoa I was a big BSC 90s kid! Never knew they were on Netflix- I have no tv so that does nothing for me other then blow me away. Interesting breakdown. I’d be a [name_u]Mallory[/name_u] hands down! There was in later part of the series and additional sitter named [name_f]Abbi[/name_f] (I think that spelling) not sure if she would have a particular style as well.
I didn’t know there was a Netflix show either. Cool! I’m a mix between Mary Anne, Stacey, and Mallory! Mostly undeniably feminine, romantic, and storied names that strive to be dreamy and evocative but not too frilly.
I’m currently watching season 2!!

[name_f]My[/name_f] list these days includes [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], so I would say I’m a mix of [name_f]Jessi[/name_f] and [name_u]Stacey[/name_u], but my boy list tends more in a [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] direction.

I was BSC-obsessed as a kid and have since loved watching the Netflix show. I think I’m some kind of mix of [name_u]Mallory[/name_u] and [name_f]Jessi[/name_f] with a little [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] and [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] thrown in!
I’m not quite sure which one I fall under, but I love this idea! lol growing up, my favourite character was [name_f]Kristy[/name_f] or [name_u]Mallory[/name_u]

Wow, what a realization! I have new respect for [name_f]Ann[/name_f] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] now. All of their personalities totally match their name styles. I haven’t watched the new show, but I read the books in the 90s. [name_f]My[/name_f] style falls mostly in the [name_u]Mallory[/name_u] category. And I quite like her character too.
