Nameberries ! What do you think of the name of [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] for a boy ? I was thinking I kind of love the nickname [name_u]Iggy[/name_u] for [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] - would that work ? Otherwise what would be some cool nicknames?
And what would be some cool middlenames ?
What do you think of [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] - is that too much ?
Thanks guys !
I think it works. [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] and [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] would make good sibling names but I might go with something more traditional in the middle spot for each of them.

I like [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] - cool, fun and rugged! I’ve met two Tigers and it’s suited them both well.
[name_u]Iggy[/name_u] could work
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] is a bit much for me.
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Callahan[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Paxton[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Logan[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Reeve[/name_u]
Sorry, but I’m not a fan of [name_u]Tiger[/name_u]. As a nickname, I think it would be fine. I would go with [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u].
[name_m]Ignacio[/name_m]
[name_m]Ignatius[/name_m]
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u]
[name_u]Tyler[/name_u]
[name_m]Tybalt[/name_m]
[name_u]Teigan[/name_u]
[name_m]Tygo[/name_m]
I love [name_u]Iggy[/name_u]! I think with a name like [name_u]Tiger[/name_u], people will constantly ask if he’s named after [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_m]Woods[/name_m], so as long as you’re prepared for that.
Sorry, but I don’t care for that name for a few reasons. I hope I’m not too harsh but I like to give an honest impression! You have to think about how a name can grow with a person. [name_m]Can[/name_m] you picture the CEO of a company in a boardroom being named [name_u]Tiger[/name_u]? I can’t. Sounds like a tough one to have especially in a corporate, academic, or more serious profession. I would hate for a person to be limited in opportunities based on someone else’s perception of the name (not fair, but unfortunately that’s what often happens). Same as a girl named something like [name_f]Princess[/name_f]. It doesn’t give off a serious vibe to me and can come off sounding more like a pet’s name instead. Definitely a cool nickname for him to have when he’s little if you like it so much, however. I’d recommend a first name that lends itself to having that kind of nickname and giving a more formal first name for him to have to prevent anything negative. Perhaps a name that has the [name_m]Ty[/name_m] T-R or strong G sound like:
[name_u]Tyler[/name_u]
[name_u]Taylor[/name_u]
[name_m]Nigel[/name_m]
[name_u]Tanner[/name_u]
[name_m]Brannigan[/name_m]
[name_m]Gregory[/name_m]
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_m]Woods[/name_m] succeeded as a [name_u]Tiger[/name_u]. I don’t see why your little [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] can’t as well. Especially with the amount of kre@tiv names being used today. [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] is almost normal compared to some I’ve heard. I love [name_m]Tige[/name_m] as an out and about NN and [name_m]Tigger[/name_m] as a family NN name! I do think [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] is a bit much though. They’d make great sibling names!

[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] sounds childish to me but [name_u]Iggy[/name_u] is ok for a nickname. [name_m]Ty[/name_m] would probably be good too and isn’t childish.
It’s not my taste as it’s too out there but it works as I’ve seen celebs called tiger or [name_m]Tyger[/name_m]. [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] prefer [name_m]Tyger[/name_m] as it looks more like a name. [name_m]Ty[/name_m] is a cool nickname too.
I’d definitely pair it with a classic middle name to just balance it out.
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]William[/name_u]
[name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u]

The word tiger has too much of a negative connotation - tigers are dangerous. It also falls into the “macho” boy’s name trend, which I don’t like.
