I am 35wks and have just decided in the last 2wks that I no longer like the name that we had decided on for baby boy #2. Our first son is named [name]Rex[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] and we had FINALLY decided on the name [name]Troy[/name] [name]Michael[/name] for this baby. But now all of a sudden I am not happy with the name. The only rules that I do need to follow is that the name can’t begin with “h” and it can’t end in “n”
Any suggestions? I started off with a lot of “rules” but now I don’t know so much that I care about following them. I just really want to love the name.
I’m liking the name [name]Frederick[/name] right now. Would that work with [name]Rex[/name]?
I think [name]Frederick[/name] could work - I’ve seen the nn [name]Fritz[/name] for [name]Frederick[/name] and I really like it (much prefer over [name]Fred[/name]/[name]Freddy[/name]). [name]Rex[/name] and [name]Fritz[/name] definitely go!
[name]Frederick[/name], even if he is called by a nickname, seems far to traditional when paired with [name]Rex[/name] in my opinion. What about these?
Well… While [name]Frederick[/name] is a nice name, I personally could never suggest anyone to use that because my dad substituted the word “[name]Frederick[/name]” for the f-word in a song to dissuade my younger brother from swearing. So I just can’t get that out of my head. Haha.
Anyway, I really like [name]Troy[/name] and [name]Rex[/name] together. I like that they’re both one syllable and have an R sound. They just work really well together. If you really don’t like [name]Troy[/name] anymore, how about:

I love this list. So fun and a bit punchy! To go with [name]Rex[/name], I would choose either [name]Leonard[/name], [name]Leopold[/name] or [name]Lionel[/name] nn [name]Leo[/name]. So adorable.
My 2nd son is called [name]Rex[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], his elder brother [name]Toby[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] and his younger brother [name]Ben[/name] [name]Richard[/name].
I love the name [name]Rex[/name], great 1st choice!
[name]Rex[/name] and [name]Toby[/name] would be my suggestion for obvious reasons!
