Baer?

I am in love with the name [name]Baer[/name]. Go ahead and give your opinion. I’d love some feedback. Anyone have any fantastic name combos for this?
I would greatly appreciate it. Cant wait to hold my little [name]Baer[/name]! (:

[name]Baer[/name] ?___?

or

?___? [name]Baer[/name]

I like [name]Baer[/name], too. Not sure I’d be brave enough to use it. It may work best in the middle. If you use it as a first name, I think it needs a longer, “normal” middle.

[name]Baer[/name] [name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Baer[/name] [name]Solomon[/name]
[name]Baer[/name] [name]Evander[/name]
[name]Baer[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Baer[/name] [name]Josiah[/name]
[name]Baer[/name] [name]Tobiah[/name] / [name]Tobias[/name]

If you use it in the middle, I think there are a plethora of great names that could go in front of it.

My man mentioned it and the more I think about it the more I fall in love with it. I know it would take a strong personality to pull that name off, but I think the most important thing is to instill confidence in my child…and all other things will fall in place.
I’ve thought of

[name]Andrew[/name] [name]Baer[/name]/[name]Baer[/name] [name]Andrew[/name]

And also spelling it Bayer???

[name]Baer[/name] looks like [name]Bear[/name] mixed up, I’m not sure I like it. Bayer seems easier to look at to me. The name itself is fine. I know people with the last name Bayer.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Bear[/name] but not [name]Baer[/name] because I pronounce them differently. I know people with the surname [name]Baer[/name] so I’m used to it being pronounced “bay-er”
If it’s “bay-er” then I prefer it as a mn- [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Baer[/name]
If it’s “bare” then I prefer it in the front- [name]Baer[/name] [name]Andrew[/name]

I like it! Reminds me of Professor [name]Baer[/name] in [name]Little[/name] Women.

Bayer reminds me of the Bayer Asprin against heart attacks commercials. I like [name]Baer[/name] better than [name]Bear[/name] but really it’s exactly the same word in two languages. FYI: The “ae” combo is actually an older/less known alternative for the a umlaut (Bär would be the proper [name]German[/name] spelling). Since I was raised bi-lingual [name]German[/name] English wether it’s [name]Bear[/name] or [name]Baer[/name] is actually 6 of one or half a dozen of the other.

^ This is why I like it too.

I love [name]Wolf[/name]/[name]Wulf[/name] but can’t warm up to [name]Baer[/name].

In [name]Little[/name] Women it was spelt Bhaer, and was his last name, first name was Friederich, NN [name]Fritz[/name].

I liked the suggestion of [name]Baer[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]!
