My best friend’s name is [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], and I’m still considering options for a namesake.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] is still gender-fluid enough to work as a middle name for a boy?
I’d pair it with something obviously masculine as a first name - so [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], etc.
I really like [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] for a boy! I personally wouldn’t worry about it as a first name, but especially wouldn’t worry at all with it as a middle name.
I actually really like, and actually prefer, [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] on a boy! So, I see it as gender neutral, but I know a lot of people (strongly) disagree with me based on google searches I’ve done about [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] on a boy in the past.
Thanks, everyone! Oh, [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Bailey[/name_u]!!! I hadn’t thought of that association - how cool. I love that.
Anyways, I think this is a solved matter! It’s so funny - I wonder if [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] for a boy is a bit regional? I don’t know a single male [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], but I know … counts on fingers Well, at least 11 girl Baileys, and they’re all under 20, sure, but it’s surprising to me that I know so many!
