Seriously though, I think it’s a very cool name; it hasn’t caught on with the hipsters like some other really classic names, but it fits in with them just the same. It’s got a nice, homey, comfortable feel to it.
I think the nn [name]Barnes[/name] would definitely help those without the onamastic bent. I love [name]Barnaby[/name], though, and had never thought of [name]Barnes[/name] as a nickname. Great idea. [name]Love[/name] the rest of your list, but [name]Holden[/name] seems to fall flat in comparison to the other names.
