Hey there Berries! I could use your help with a dilemma we are having with our first baby’s name (she is due in [name]October[/name]). The problem is my DH and I have sort of claimed 2 different names. It’s become kind of a battle around here! The good news is that we can live with either or, but I think a new name we both agree on and equally love would be even better. We both tend to drift toward names that are standing out/fitting in with a romantic or “new age” feel.
Can you help us find a new name? Or at least weigh in on the two names we are battling over?

[name]Francesca[/name] is nice but not WOW, and I hate the popularity of the singer [name]Adele[/name] (I don’t think I liked the name before that anyways).

You seem to like a lot of names that end in -a. What about Athena; Christina; Diana; Emma; Kendra; Mia; Relena; Sabrina; Serena; Téa?

[name]Francesca[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] are a little too old-ish but [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Adele[/name] (or vice-versa) is a very pretty name! The names you choose for your children need to be names that you love! And you both are obviously set on these names so join them and make a sacrifice for your beautiful little daughter.

I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Isadora[/name]! [name]Francesca[/name] is pretty too but, to me, it’s so Italian sounding that I’d expect the girl to be from [name]Italy[/name] with siblings named [name]Giovanni[/name] and [name]Margherita[/name].

[name]Just[/name] to clarify, the middle names aren’t set in stone. They could be anything really. We have just presented them to the other person this way, kinda throwing it out there. I actually don’t have any feelings about [name]Adele[/name]. But the middle name to me is so much less important than the first.

I prefer [name]Francesca[/name] over [name]Isadora[/name]. I really hate the nn [name]Fanny[/name]/[name]Fran[/name]/[name]Franny[/name] or whatever but none of the [name]Francesca[/name] I have known have gone by those.
I like [name]Francesca[/name] way better than [name]Isadora[/name] but I dislike [name]Adele[/name] as a middle because it runs together with the end of [name]Francesca[/name]. I would choose [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (which is so gorgeous) or [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Isadora[/name]/[name]Isadore[/name].

[name]How[/name] funny! My best friend brought up [name]Indiana[/name] because she likes how [name]India[/name]'s NN would be “[name]Indy[/name]”, like [name]Indiana[/name] [name]Jones[/name]'s. I think it works great for a boy, but it doesn’t seem girly enough for me.
