If you heard a baby named [name_u]Bay[/name_u], would your first thought be BOY or GIRL?

Hmmm, I think it could be either. I’ve only known of one and it was a girl. I was found it kind of unique. I like [name_u]Bay[/name_u]!

I wouldn’t assume an assigned gender based on the name [name_u]Bay[/name_u]. Perhaps I have a slight preference for [name_u]Bay[/name_u] on a boy, but I think it’s really gender neutral.

I tend to see it talked about more on male characters (never met one in real life), but I tend to think girl, since the first time I heard it was on the female character in Switched At Birth. I think it totally works on anyone, it feels completely neutral.

i’d assume a boy ! i like it for both though - an unexpected and simple choice :smiling_face:

I wouldn’t assume anything, [name_u]Bay[/name_u] is completely gender neutral to me. But if you forced me to make a guess, I’d say boy.

The only [name_u]Bay[/name_u] I know of is a boy, so that’s my first thought. However, I wouldn’t be surprised either way. Personally I love soft, nature inspired names on boys though.

Maybe if it was a US baby, I’d consider girl. UK, I’d lean towards boy, but I’d probably wait to find out

It could work for either, but I would I think [name_u]Bay[/name_u] would be a girl bc Switch at Birth, is the first time I heard of the name
