Bay

[name]Hi[/name],

Last night Switched at Birth Premiered on ABC (don’t worry I’m not trying to get you to watch it!) - I am just intrigued by the choice of namer for one of the main characters.

[name]Bay[/name].

I’m slowly warming to it - although it does seem at bit short for a girl.

Anyway.

What do you guys think.
Thanks

I would use it as a middle for sure! As a first I’m kinda 50/50. I love the nn [name]Bay[/name] for [name]Bailey[/name]!

I saw it, too  Her name was [name]Bay[/name] [name]Madeline[/name], which I think goes really well together. It was listed in Beyond [name]Jennifer[/name] & [name]Jason[/name] (or [name]Madison[/name] & [name]Montana[/name], can’t remember now) as a cool MN and I loved it, not just as a MN, but just as a name! I definitely think the last name would have to be the right one, but I love [name]Bay[/name], myself!

I think [name]Bay[/name] is really pretty in a double-barrel name. It’s works as well, but is more unexpected that [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Kate[/name] or [name]Claire[/name]. I know of a girl named [name]Lily[/name] [name]Bay[/name], which I think is so pretty!

While I don’t see the appeal of [name]Bay[/name], perhaps you could get there via [name]Bel[/name]”n? It’s softer than [name]Bay[/name], but it could work.

I love it! I have a thing for nature-inspired names, and this is one of the best I’ve heard.

Oh, yeah, I’ve heard [name]Bay[/name]. Honestly, I don’t like it for girls, but I really like it for boys. It sounds masculine to me!

Im not a fan of “[name]Bay[/name]”; its kinda masculine too me. I dont like “[name]Lake[/name]” or “[name]Ocean[/name]” either…
