Beatles baby

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone,
We are still stuck on baby number fours name. Her sibs are [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. All purposely related to beatles songs.
So for number four we are down to

  1. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] [name_m]Greene[/name_m] (nn.[name_u]Penny[/name_u])
  2. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_m]Greene[/name_m]
  3. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_m]Greene[/name_m] ( it would not be full eleanor because my husband dislikes the full name
  4. [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] [name_m]Greene[/name_m] ( for the song imagine, 1 sound off)
  5. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_m]Greene[/name_m]

The name [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is my sons (he is 5 ) pick, he says its for lucy in the sky with diamonds only we like rubies.
I am not sure about ruby with the last name greene. That’s why if ruby is not the first name it may have to appear as the middle. The poor kids heart is already broken that its not a boy. Also my husband has a thing about all our kids having a 4 letter first name. I have a favorite, but I am not going to say right away. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband also has a favorite ( not the same as me), so iam asking you all to help. What do you think and why?
Thanks for your time.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. Together with [name_f]Hope[/name_f] it remindes me of [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] Heap but I don’t think it is a big deal. It’s a beautiful idea to connect it with the word “imagine”.
I like [name_f]Elle[/name_f] but it is seriously a word so for me it is a bit strange; [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is indeed a bad idea with [name_m]Greene[/name_m]. I like [name_f]Ella[/name_f] for you only if you are fine with its popularity and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is just not my cup of tea.
[name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Molly[/name_f] are some other names connected with Beatles if you are interested in suggestions.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Green[/name_u] is a bit too much ‘colour’ in my opinion. I like the others, but ‘[name_f]Imagine[/name_f]’ was by [name_m]Lennon[/name_m] rather than the Beatles- don’t know how much that would bother you.

[name_u]Joan[/name_u], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_u]Jojo[/name_u], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] & [name_f]Rita[/name_f] are other 4-letter Beatle names

You already have a daughter named [name_u]Skye[/name_u] so you probably don’t care about having another word name paired with [name_m]Greene[/name_m]. Howevery, [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_m]Greene[/name_m] is not ideal not only because they’re two colours but you have a [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (Ju-[name_f]Lu[/name_f]-Ru are too matchy in sound and they would leave [name_u]Skye[/name_u] out). I think I’m going to have to choose [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u].

I like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] best however if you are trying to use [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] then my pick would be [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Penny[/name_u]’ [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is very sweet and would be the most obvious with your children’s names (which I like).
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] doesn’t do it for me, the connection to the Beatles would get lost (I wouldn’t grasp the concept of [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]=[name_f]Imagine[/name_f] and ask myself why she was left out)
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] don’t either, since you wouldn’t ever call her [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] matches [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] a bit too much - both four letter, two syllables and the “u” and “y” in the same spot.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. That way your sons pick is there, but [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is not so matchy matchy with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] falls a little flat to me. And honestly if you know the connection between [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and the Beatles I say it’s perfect!!

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] as a first name would concern me due to [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_u]Green/name_u being color names. And [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are very similar in sound.

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] seems too fair fetched for me.

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is gorgeous, but seems very long compared to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], and [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. I am assuming all of your kids don’t have a nn? If so [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn penny would not work as well.

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f], nicknamed [name_u]Penny[/name_u], is my favorite
