I love the name [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], but I’m not sure if it is to close to my daughters name [name_u]Bristol[/name_u]. I did’t think about it until my partner said something. [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] goes by [name_f]Iris[/name_f] 90% of the time, but still not sure. WDYT? Would it be okay to use [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
Definitely fine [name_f]IMO[/name_f], especially if [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] doesn’t often go by her full name. I personally find [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] closer in sound than [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
Your daughter goes by [name_f]Iris[/name_f] most of the time, so similarities with [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] shouldn’t be that important. I say go for the name you love. On another note, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] would be perfect to further differentiate both names.
I do not think [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] are close sounding. I agree with [name_f]Katinka[/name_f], I think [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] sound closer in sound, although still not too close.
Yeah, they’re definitely not too close. I think [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] actually sounds closer to [name_f]Iris[/name_f] because of the ending (though still not too close!)
I don’t think [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] & [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] are too close at all. And I second the suggestion of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]! So cute!
