My husband and I love old English names, our 1st Daughter is [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Rose[/name].
We are now pregnant with our second and have fallen in love with the name ‘[name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Blossom[/name]’ and thought it would be cute to call her BB as a nn
I really like it. I’m a fan of alliteration and the classic [name]Beatrice[/name] grounds the sweetness of [name]Blossom[/name]. I really like [name]Blossom[/name]!
Loving this combo! I too am a fan of alliteration and have a real soft spot for the name [name]Blossom[/name]. It just sounds so lovely! It’s great in the middle with the classic [name]Beatrice[/name] up front. Not to mention the precious nickname potential!
I actually considered [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] for our little girl… I think [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Blossom[/name] it’s adorable and [name]BeBe[/name]/BB as a nn is just is too cute!! I generally prefer [name]Beatrix[/name] to [name]Beatrice[/name] but with [name]Olivia[/name] I prefer [name]Beatrice[/name]. i also like that [name]Blossom[/name] compliments [name]Rose[/name] nicely whilst also giving the sibset a little spunk and zest!!
I love [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Blossom[/name]! I have a 2 year old [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Holly[/name], and expecting another girl in [name]August[/name] was going to go for [name]Pippa[/name] [name]Rose[/name], do you think they go well together? Husband still be convinced! X
I’m going to go against the popular opinion here and say that I don’t like it so much. It’s ok because [name]Blossom[/name] is in the middle spot, and I think [name]Beatrice[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name] go lovely together, but [name]Blossom[/name]? It’s not really my style and I find it too sugary sweet.
[name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Blossom[/name] sounds like a fairytale name!
[name]Beatrice[/name] is lovely, she’s elegant and sweet. I love the upper-crust feeling of this name, I think the name just works effortlessly especially with [name]Olivia[/name]. [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Beatrice[/name] as a sister combination is fresh and pretty. I think [name]Blossom[/name] is very cutesy and lovely similar to names like [name]Primrose[/name] and [name]Lavender[/name]. [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Blossom[/name] does flow and sounds very sweet and fairytale like. Yet the name doesn’t have a lot of strength unlike [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Rose[/name] which is cutesy she does have some strength as [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] with the ‘uh’ ending and the grown up middle name. Maybe [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Blossom[/name], would work better because the ‘x’ does have a kick to the combination. Still I do like the name.
I used to know a girl named [name]Blossom[/name]. She had a sister named [name]Christabel[/name].
[name]Blossom[/name] is a cute and quirky name for the middle spot. I think it gives the more serious [name]Beatrice[/name] a little youthful shot in the arm. I like the Shakespearean connection between [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Beatrice[/name]. If you love it, go for it!
