I am not pregnant but do plan on having one more. [name]Beatrice[/name] is the name of my DH grandmother. Without running it by me he told Grandma [name]Bea[/name] that we planned on using [name]Beatrice[/name] for our baby girl. We ended up naming the baby P@loma. I do like the name [name]Beatrice[/name] and do not mind using it in the mn spot at all. I feel like it doesn’t have that international quirkiness that my other children’s names have: [name]Lil[/name]@ (lee-lah), M!ro (mih-row) and P@aloma. I tried to convince DH to slightly change the spelling to [name]Beatrix[/name] or [name]Beatriz[/name], he said no. So my question is does [name]Birdie[/name] work w the sibset? is having a [name]Birdie[/name] and a P@loma too much? would it be weird that all my other children go by their full legal names while [name]Birdie[/name] would mostly go by her nn? I would also like to honor my grandma who recently passes away but her name M@ri@n Cecili@ also doesn’t really work with my other kids. any suggestions?

[name]Beatrice[/name] is a lovely name. I know a number of Beatrices with the following nns… [name]Betty[/name], [name]Trish[/name], [name]Trixie[/name], and [name]Bee[/name]. If you wish her nn to be [name]Birdie[/name] I don’t see why it should create a problem with your other daughter [name]Paloma[/name] because in reality you have a [name]Paloma[/name] and a [name]Beatrice[/name] not a [name]Paloma[/name] and [name]Birdie[/name] - as its just a nn, not her legal name
I think [name]Beatrice[/name] goes really well with [name]Paloma[/name]. Pretty well with [name]Lila[/name] and Miro.
I think [name]Birdie[/name], [name]Lila[/name] & Miro match really well.
Really I don’t think it needs to be that matchy.
I personally think [name]Beatrice[/name] has the gorgeous sophisticated vibe of [name]Paloma[/name]. No Z or X necessary to up the exotic factor imo.
[name]Birdie[/name] is cute like [name]Lila[/name] & Miro.
