I quite like the name [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I love the nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] but don’t like [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] or [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]. Could [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] then work as a nn for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]? Also what do you think of the nn Béa ([name_u]Bay[/name_u]-a)?
I think it works as a not-related-to-first-name nickname, but I can’t see the connection between [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].
Beá is nice.
I really like Béa as a nickname for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]! I do see where [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] comes from, and I think it’s perfectly usable, but it doesn’t seem as natural as Béa.
I think [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] works just fine for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]! Beá is okay, I prefer [name_f]Bea[/name_f] or [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]–so sweet! Béa is also really pretty! I think it might be mispronounced sometimes (at least in the U.S., I’m not sure where you are) but if that doesn’t bother you it’s lovely.
If [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] can be a nn for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] I don’t see why it can’t be a nn for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
Béa is cute too.
It doesn’t make total sense but I don’t think nicknames have to!
There is also [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
Beatrice nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is cute and works for me. I prefer it to Béa
I think this makes a very sweet nickname for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
I love birdie
This is one of my favorite names and I have already planned to use [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as a nickname. Great minds think alike!
Love love love [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. There are no rules for nicknames so do it if you love it! (I also like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] but not as much as [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]!)
I really like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. I think Béa ([name_u]Bay[/name_u]-a) is harder to carry off. I do like [name_f]Bea[/name_f]/Bee though.
Birdie can also be a nn for [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Alberta[/name_f], [name_f]Albertine[/name_f].
