After a short labor our 2nd baby girl was born. We had a couple names picked for her including [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. But our baby was just 6 lbs and so very calm (unlike her sister who was a squirmy handful from day one!) and those were just too much name for her! And the nickname [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] was too…cutesy for this refined little being! One syllable names are not my style but the one short name we love is [name_u]June[/name_u] - the month dh and I met- and the name suits her on its own, no nicknames necessary! (Thank you name berries for convincing me to go with my heart on this one even though I was pretty set on [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] before the birth!)
Our boy name was [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and we were planning to save it in case we do have another baby someday but [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] sounded so good after [name_u]June[/name_u]. It has a great meaning and it is w name both dh and I have loved the most from the beginning of name talk with our first dwught l. It would have been wrong not to use our favorite name for our [name_u]June[/name_u] just because she’s not a boy!
