I do feel you deeply on this one as a [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] ‘Tiggy’ advocate 
[name_f][/name_f] but I would be okay if she ended up as [name_f]Tabby[/name_f] or [name_f]Tibby[/name_f] (or [name_f]Buffy[/name_f], or Bitsy…) so I think it’s just a case of committing to all nickname possibilities!
