Obviously I am not on form tonight. It should read which one and which do!!
I like [name]Beatrix[/name] best for its spunky uniqueness. [name]Phoebe[/name] is a close second. [name]Tabitha[/name] and [name]Florence[/name] both sound unpleasant to me.
[name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Florence[/name] are my favorite!![name]Phoebe[/name] because is so spunky and cute and gives me the image of a lil funny girl running around. [name]Florence[/name] is just a name I started to like few weeks ago. It just sound so pleasant in my eyes. [name]Beatrix[/name] it’s just okay although I love the nn [name]Birdie[/name] and [name]Tabitha[/name] it’s just nms to me.
I’m torn between [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Tabitha[/name]
I actually like them in the order you’ve put them
[name]Beatrix[/name] - so pretty and yet spunky. Interesting yet not too weird.
[name]Tabitha[/name] - I really think this is lovely, but I have a bad connection with it
[name]Phoebe[/name] - it’s pretty but it’s hard not to think of the Friends character
[name]Florence[/name] - it’s okay, but still feels dated to me. I prefer [name]Flora[/name].
[name]Tabitha[/name]. I think all of the names are lovely, and you can’t go wrong with any of them, but [name]Tabitha[/name] is familiar yet uncommon, has adorable nns and a beautiful meaning, as well as being easy to spell.
[name]Tabitha[/name] is lovely! [name]Phoebe[/name] would be my second choice. I just can’t see a baby or young child named [name]Beatrix[/name] or [name]Florence[/name].
They’re all beautiful but nothing can beat [name]Beatrix[/name] - not even [name]Tabitha[/name].
I like them all except [name]Phoebe[/name] which is too common [name]IMO[/name]. I also prefer [name]Beatrice[/name] to [name]Beatrix[/name]. More elegant and beautiful. [name]Bee[/name] is a cute nickname!
My favorite is [name]Phoebe[/name] - love it. My 2nd choice would be [name]Florence[/name].
[name]Tabitha[/name] is NMS and I prefer [name]Beatrice[/name] to [name]Beatrix[/name]
Very tough! If I had to rank, I’d go…
[name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Tabitha[/name] are pretty neck and neck though!
[name]Love[/name] them all except [name]Florence[/name]. I voted [name]Phoebe[/name].
I also prefer [name]Beatrice[/name] to [name]Beatrix[/name], but of your choices thats my fave.
I wouldn’t use the [name]Beatrix[/name] spelling or you’re going to get people calling her [name]Trixie[/name] (WHICH IS STUPID).
[name]Beatrice[/name] is sweet & you can go with [name]BeeBee[/name] or [name]Bea[/name] for a nickname.
My favorite is [name]Florence[/name], it’s graceful and whimsical yet still down to earth and solid. My second choice would be [name]Beatrix[/name]. And actually I like the nn [name]Trixie[/name]…
[name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Florence[/name] are my favorites. I think [name]Florence[/name] edges out [name]Beatrix[/name] a little bit for me, but they are both lovely choice. [name]Florence[/name] is a bit sweeter, [name]Beatrix[/name] has a little more edge.
It was between [name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Florence[/name] for me. But I voted for [name]Florence[/name]. If it had been between [name]Beatrice[/name] and [name]Florence[/name] I would have chosen [name]Beatrice[/name] though. I like softer endings in names.
I think [name]Florence[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] would be pretty. I do like [name]Beatrix[/name] but hate the idea of [name]Trixie[/name]. [name]Phoebe[/name] still feels a little exotic which I love. I have to vote for [name]Phoebe[/name].
Thanks for the replys so far, it has given us loads to consider. With regards to [name]Beatrice[/name] vs [name]Beatrix[/name] we just love the spunky x at the end, it somehow feels fresher and more wearable for a little girl. We would still use [name]Bee[/name] as a nn (though I know it does invite the posibility of [name]Trixie[/name])
If it helps, I have a [name]Beatrix[/name] nn [name]Bea[/name], and of all of the many people who have met her, only one secretary at my work has ever tried to call her [name]Trixie[/name]. I’m in the anti-[name]Trixie[/name] camp, but so far it’s not an issue.
And my ranking would be [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Tabitha[/name], [name]Florence[/name], and [name]Phoebe[/name]. I like them all (and actually considered [name]Florence[/name]), but I have a hard time perceiving [name]Phoebe[/name] ever being serious. Blame the tv show Friends.
