Which do you prefer? I genuinely like them equally and find it impossible to choose!

I LOVE [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Trixie[/name_f] (Call the Midwife, good show!) but either version is lovely!

Both great choices, and very different to me in terms of feel despite being so similar on the face of it.

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is soft and proper and a little lacy. I think it brings out the vintage, floral side of [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I get quiet, delicate, old-fashioned, ever so slightly austere vibes from this combo. Think pale pastel blues and lilacs and vintage lace.

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] has a much bolder, spikier sound and I think it brings out the sharp, tailored shape of [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I get spunky, feisty vibes from this combo. Think brighter, deeper purple and black, and more retro glamour than delicate old-fashioned charm.

I personally prefer [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] of the two :black_heart:

Both are great! I feel like as much as [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] picks out Violet’s sharpness, Violet’s soft, floral side is complemented well by [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. Objectively I’d be inclined to go [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], because I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] might work better with something a touch more vibrant and unexpected. Not that [name_f]Violet[/name_f] isn’t, but there’s a lot of style and coolness with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] that I can see another middle having a more ideal fit. In my biased view though, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] will always be my choice as a first!

Both great names! In my opinion, [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] has a little more flow, but I do quite like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].

Also, [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is VERY “A Series of Unfortunate Events” to me, which is not a bad thing, just a very immediate association.

I really like both. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite part about [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is the [name_f]Trixie[/name_f] nn, otherwise I prefer [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I like the more classic spelling and [name_f]Bea[/name_f] works as a nn for either.

I prefer [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] to [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] in general, but I think the flow of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] works better.

Beatrice 100000%! Love that tons x

I think I vote [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. (A lot for the “Beatrice and Ramona” tie-in, although [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] is a great reason to swing the other way too. )

Along the same feel, I think that [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] might be a bit spunkier to pair with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] has an x and z, if that’s something you are looking for. Both are beautiful choices though, and I LOVE [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as a name.
