Which name do you like better? Both have sentimental meaning to me but I couldn’t imagine them on siblings.
As nicknames go I like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] (bay-uh) and [name_f]Ani[/name_f] (ah-knee)

My favorite is [name_f]Anais[/name_f] [name_f]Adore[/name_f] the nn
[name_f]Anais[/name_f] is a guilty pleasure of mine. I went to high school with one, but she has so many pronunciation issues. [name_f]Ani[/name_f] is very sweet too.
I really like both and actually can totally imagine them on siblings—sort of a pan-European thing.
But if I had to choose, [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f] wins! I love every single [name_f]Bea[/name_f]- name and I think the versions with “bay-ah” pronunciations are especially nice.
I love [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f]. It has always been a favorite of mine, in all of its variations and nicknames. I think the sound is beautiful. I don’t think I worry overly about teasing, but in the U.S. I would eliminate [name_f]Anais[/name_f] on that basis. I just couldn’t do it. In Europe, it might be different, but I still love [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f] more.
