What do you all think of Beau? :sunflower: I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately paired with a brother named August! :tangerine:

To me, they both evoke seersucker suits :tophat::necktie:and summer picnics :basket:

I’m open to all critiques! :two_hearts:

I like it! Personally, I’d use it as either a middle name or a nickname. I like Bowden or [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] nn [name_u]Beau[/name_u]

I’m the opposite of the last poster. I like [name_u]Beau[/name_u] alone, but strongly dislike names like [name_m]Boden[/name_m] and [name_m]Bodi[/name_m].

I prefer it as a nickname as well, and I think I prefer it for a girl

Definitely prefer it on a little boy, as it means handsome! I think it’s a dashing name, however the [name_u]Bo[/name_u] spelling is just okay to me :slight_smile:

The only longer/different form I love is [name_m]Beaumont[/name_m]!

I love [name_u]Beau[/name_u] !! We actually have two in my husbands family , a 25 year old male and a 6 year old [name_f]Girl[/name_f] [name_u]Bo[/name_u]

I also like alternatives but my favourite long version is beauchene

I think [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is gorgeous such a lovely name that feels so soft and gentle. Definitely a great brother name for [name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_u]Beau[/name_u] definitely belongs to the boys I’m really not keen on this name being used for girls.

I’ve been crushing on [name_m]Beaumont[/name_m] of recent he’s just so distinguished

I love [name_u]Bo[/name_u] but [name_u]Beau[/name_u] just reminds me of being someone’s beau as well as the [name_u]French[/name_u] word. Apart from that it just feels super American as a name which isn’t the vibe I tend to go for so [name_u]Beau[/name_u] gets a no from me while [name_u]Bo[/name_u] would get a big yes!

I absolutely LOVE the name [name_u]Beau[/name_u]! I found it on a show I watch (Critical Roll), and the characters full name is [name_m]Beauregard[/name_m]. I absolutely love the name [name_m]Beauregard[/name_m] and the nickname [name_u]Beau[/name_u], though I prefer both names for a boy rather than a girl, since beau is the the french word for cute referring to a boy.
