Beautiful baby girl name

[name_u]Evan[/name_u] has been a boys name, but it seems soft for a boy. I love the name [name_u]Evin[/name_u] for a girl. It’s such a pretty name. It also helps that I know a 20ish year old girl with this name. She is smart and beautiful and she loves her name!

I’ve always found [name_u]Evan[/name_u] to be a really nice, strong boy name. I prefer [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f] for a girl but I wouldn’t be totally shocked to meet a girl named [name_u]Evan[/name_u]/[name_u]Evin[/name_u].

I don’t like the spelling of [name_u]Evin[/name_u].

I’m not a fan of [name_u]Evin[/name_u], the spelling and sound makes it feel kind of 2000’s to me
I like the suggestion of [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f]. [name_f]Yvonna[/name_f] is also an option, along with [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Eviana[/name_f].

My brother-in-law is [name_u]Evan[/name_u] so I can only picture it as a boys name but I can see how you find it feminine with the popularity of so many Ev- names for girls. My favourite is [name_u]Everly[/name_u], but [name_f]Evanna[/name_f] is lovely too!

I think [name_u]Evan[/name_u] is a handsome and strong boys name. Not a fan of [name_u]Evin[/name_u], I much prefer [name_f]Evanna[/name_f].

I prefer [name_u]Evan[/name_u] as a boys’ name however, I like [name_u]Evan[/name_u] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_m]Wood[/name_m], so can see how it can work for a girl. That being said, I much prefer the [name_u]Evan[/name_u] spelling.

I knew a boy and girl named [name_u]Evan[/name_u] in school, so it is completely unisex name to me, even though I have since met more who were female.

[name_u]Evan[/name_u] is a boy’s name and I don’t like [name_u]Evin[/name_u]. What about [name_f]Evanna[/name_f], [name_f]Evaine[/name_f], [name_f]Evelin[/name_f], [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f], Evren, [name_f]Ivanna[/name_f], [name_f]Ivone[/name_f], or [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f]?

I really love [name_u]Evan[/name_u] for a girl! I think a lot people have heard it on the actress [name_u]Evan[/name_u] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_m]Wood[/name_m] over the years. For me, it brings to mind a beautiful, strong, creative, intelligent girl. [name_u]Evin[/name_u] makes me think of the name [name_f]Erin[/name_f], or the [name_u]Devin[/name_u] variation of [name_u]Devan[/name_u]/[name_u]Devyn[/name_u] for girls, which stylistically is just not as appealing to me.

[name_u]Evin[/name_u] is as close to Evil as you can get.

I think [name_u]Evan[/name_u] is lovely for a boy. I don’t like it on a girl, though I would prefer it to [name_u]Evin[/name_u]. [name_u]Evin[/name_u] doesn’t seem real to me and it looks somehow pinched.

I must admit I feel like [name_u]Evin[/name_u] looks like an attempt at creative spelling to turn a good masculine name like [name_u]Evan[/name_u] into a girls version. It doesn’t appeal to me sorry. Save [name_u]Evan[/name_u] for a future son.

Oh, don’t listen to any of these nay-sayers, please. I think [name_u]Evin[/name_u] is beautiful both as a name AND as a spelling.

I say GO FOR IT!
