[name_f]My[/name_f] sons name is [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and I’m thinking [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] for our daughter.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] sound good together?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] sound good together?
I love the name [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] for a girl! They sound find together but you may be putting yourself in a corner where you feel that you need name any future children one-syllable ‘B’ names
They’re a bit matchy. I wouldn’t appreciate it if my mother did that to me.
I really love [name_u]Bliss[/name_u]- it was on our list for as a nickname a for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] sound good together, they’re matchy but share a style.
I can’t tell if this is a serious question or not…but [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] are incredibly too matchy, imho. I don’t care for [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] either. There’s lot of names with similar meanings ([name_f]Joy[/name_f]/[name_f]Farah[/name_f]/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]) and lots of (what I consider to be) more usable virtue names ([name_f]Mercy[/name_f]/[name_f]Hope[/name_f]/[name_f]Verity[/name_f]/[name_f]Faith[/name_f])…
I think [name_u]Beck[/name_u], a sharper sounding name, does not work well with the much softer, much less traditional [name_u]Bliss[/name_u]. Also much too matchy with the alliteration. I suggest [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], because [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] sound so right together.
I feel like the names don’t really mesh well together. The “ss” in [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] is very smooth, while the “ck” in [name_u]Beck[/name_u] is very hard.
I think they sound cool together. I wouldn’t use them for matchy reasons, but I love unique one syllable names. [name_m]Just[/name_m] know that you are kind of obliged to name a third child, if you choose to have one, a one syllable B name.
[name_u]Bliss[/name_u] makes me think of [name_f]El[/name_f] Paso, TX, a very very unpleasant connotation. [name_m]Just[/name_m] be aware of that if you’re in the US.
too match. sorry. they will hate it.
I’m not a fan of [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] to be honest. I think [name_u]Beck[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] would sound better together if you are setting on using another B name. Like other people have said, just keep in mind that, if you decide to have another child, you would probably have to use another B name. [name_u]Beck[/name_u], [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] or [name_u]Beck[/name_u], [name_u]Bliss[/name_u], and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] would make an odd sibset.
