Beck

I’ve been loving [name_u]Beck[/name_u] on a girl for awhile, and not because of the Netflix show, You since I have never seen it. What are your thoughts on it on a girl, not short for [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] or anything. But just [name_u]Beck[/name_u]. TIA!

I love [name_u]Beck[/name_u] for either gender! I’ve also not seen the show, but I do think knowing about a female character named [name_u]Beck[/name_u] helped me to really see it and appreciate it on a girl. Such a fun & great name! I can really see it suiting any age group, which is always a plus for me.

Seems boyish to me but doesn’t scream Boy. I think she’d definitely get “oh short for [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]?” A lot.

I don’t mind it but I don’t like it on its own as a full name.

I’ve always thought of [name_u]Beck[/name_u] as a boy’s name, but it’s cute on a girl!

I love [name_u]Beck[/name_u]! I knew a boy called it and it’s always going to be masculine for me, but it’s okay for a girl. Unfortunately, I think that it is a little to short and is better as nickname or just for a boy.

I know some girls would love to be named this. Me, I’d change my name as a child. But then I even dislike [name_u]Beck[/name_u] for a male. I think it would be kindest to choose a name that this could be a nn for.

I love [name_u]Beck[/name_u]! It’s sleek and sassy, easily spelled and pronounced, and fits in with current trends without being overly popular or trendy itself.

The character on You definitely makes the name more mainstream.
