Tough choice, I like them both. For me [name]Bennett[/name] is a softer name (I do like softer boy names), whereas [name]Beckett[/name] has a much harsher sound. However, I really like the potential nickname [name]Beck[/name] more than [name]Ben[/name]. If I had to choose I think I would pick [name]Bennett[/name].

A tough one! [name]Beckett[/name]'s K makes it seem a little trendier, which may or may not be a boon. Nickname [name]Beck[/name] sounds fresher than [name]Ben[/name], or [name]Benny[/name]. I like [name]Beckett[/name] for it’s historical/religious connotations, but we already have two in our social circle (and one [name]Bennett[/name]!) so I’m afraid it might be off my personal list.

I really love [name]Becket[/name]! [name]Bennett[/name] is nice too though.

I like [name]Bennett[/name] because of its association with Pride and Prejudice.

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Bennett[/name]!! not so much [name]Beckett[/name], but it’s fine too

[name]Bennett[/name]. Well [name]Bennet[/name]. I’m a total Pride and Prejudice junky. [name]Beckett[/name] is nice too, but feels more modern and trendy.

I voted [name]Bennett[/name]. While I completely [name]LOVE[/name] both names, I would consider naming a child [name]Bennett[/name] but not [name]Beckett[/name]. [name]Beckett[/name] just feels a little too last name-y for my liking.

I feel like I should love [name]Bennett[/name], but I really don’t. I like it, but don’t love it. I much prefer [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Benedict[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Beckett[/name], and even [name]Elliot[/name] (which is a bit blah for me, to be honest, but I do like it as a MN quite a lot). So [name]Beckett[/name] it is. I [name]LOVE[/name] the nns [name]Beck[/name] and [name]Kit[/name], and I think the association to [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Beckett[/name] is pretty awesome. I honestly don’t understand why [name]Beckett[/name]'s considered more trendy than all the other -ett names, but I still like it. For a long time, I had considered it in honor of my sister, but since she goes by [name]Becca[/name]/[name]Beck[/name] almost exclusively, I figured [name]Beckett[/name] nn [name]Beck[/name] was too close. I still keep it in mind as a MN, in certain cases, though.

ETA: [name]Don[/name]'t get me wrong, I am totally a P&P junkie, too, haha, and I love the [name]Bennet[/name] family. However, I’m not sure a little boy would be too thrilled for being named after the wild, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants, semi-hair-brained [name]Bennet[/name] sisters (particularly [name]Kitty[/name] and [name]Lydia[/name]!). Plus, I just like [name]Beckett[/name] more. Probably because of the tie to my sister.

I prefer the softer [name]Bennett[/name]. While I appreciate its literary connection, [name]Beckett[/name] is too harsh for me. [name]Bennett[/name] was actually a Medieval version of [name]Benedict[/name] so the history behind that name trumps the more trendy [name]Beckett[/name] anyday for me.

Well, my son is [name]Bennett[/name] so I obviously love that! Great name that ages well and has a wonderful meaning.
