Bed rest and boredom

So I’m not quite to 35 weeks yet and I’ve just been put on bed rest for pre-term labor. Looks like this guy won’t stay in to cook to term, but our daughters were both born early too, so at least we know the drill.

Anyway, I’m mildly nervous, cautiously excited and bored out of my mind, so I figured I’d turn to my fellow name nerds at Nameberry to indulge my over thinking about this little guy’s name and basically distract me from this unexpected start to the week.

With the help of the people here, we’ve been pretty settled on [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] for several months, and we’d probably alternate between calling him [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and [name_m]Pete[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] for fun, what kind of boy/man do you picture with that name? Any last minute critiques or suggestions? (we’re 99% settled on name, but there’s always the possibility someone notices something we wish we’d considered).

Last name sounds like Action.

I immediately think of my Uncle [name_m]Pete[/name_m]. He is kind and a good story teller. He runs marathons, is a professor, and loves hiking and traveling.

Congratulations! I hope everything goes well

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] a really lovely name. It’s classic, but stands out. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] to me is very youthful, like [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m]! But it will also grow into a very handsome, grown up name.
