I am being induced tomorrow and still don’t have a name for our baby girl. We don’t have a “style” and are open to suggestions. My husband leans toward more traditional names and I like names that are a little less popular . Our boys are [name]Dylan[/name] and Dav so absolutetly no D names. We might use [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Jane[/name] as a middle, both are family names that we like. Here are some names that haven’t been shot down by hubby.
Any combos from the above or other names you think might work? Our list is pretty short because we don’t seem to be able to find any name that we both really love. Taking all suggestions at this point!
[name]Freya[/name] is such a soft and feminine stunner. I love it! [name]Cora[/name] is really really lovely, too. Those are my two favorites from your list.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Freya[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (my favorite combination!) or [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]?
Why not combine the two family names that you like? [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is lovely and classic, and it would be meaningful within your family. I also think [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Lily[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be nice!
I actually really enjoy [name]Freya[/name] (sorry to side with the hubs!). I think [name]Freya[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is really gorgeous, but [name]Freya[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would work just as well. Make sure to check the initials for the F.E. combo, I guess!
I love [name]Freya[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Freya[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Freya[/name] is very lovely and underused, at least in the United States. With [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name] being the middle names it can balance out the uniqueness of [name]Freya[/name]. I also like [name]India[/name] and [name]Finola[/name] from your list. [name]India[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Finola[/name] [name]Jane[/name] may work.
My god daughter is [name]Freya[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] and I just love it. I am a big fan of taking advantage of British names or names popular across the pond in [name]North[/name] [name]America[/name]. They translate well, are recognizable and different but not too popular (which is my personal number one criteria). My [name]Freya[/name] is a fire cracker and I would highly recommend!
I do love [name]Freya[/name]. I also love the name when you remove the R sound: Feia is the only way I can think to spell that though. [name]Feya[/name] maybe. I love [name]Faye[/name] as a nn too.
I do like [name]Finola[/name] also ([name]Fin[/name] or nola would be cute nicknames by the way!) and I like [name]Fiona[/name] which is so close. I would call her [name]Fee[/name] for short and tease her that something so pretty is never without it’s costs! Since [name]Fiona[/name] means pretty, of course.
[name]Freya[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be pretty. [name]Finola[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. and If you did like the Feia idea I would use [name]Elizabeth[/name] as the middle.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Freya[/name], using [name]Lili[/name] as a nickname for [name]Elizabeth[/name] (I’ve seen this done and it works beautifully).
[name]India[/name] [name]Finola[/name]
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Finola[/name]
[name]Freya[/name]/[name]Rheya[/name] (husbands fave) - I think [name]Rhea[/name] should be spelled without “y”. I like both names:
[name]Freya[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Rhea[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Finola[/name]
What about [name]Coralie[/name] nn [name]Cora[/name]? [name]Coralie[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] sounds lovely to me. [name]Freya[/name] nms but I do like the combo [name]Freya[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. The suggestions of [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sound a bit too boring for me (just missing some flair [name]IMO[/name]) Lili looks like its missing a few letters I definitely prefer the spelling [name]Lily[/name], a personal favorite of mine! My suggestions: [name]Lilia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Liliana[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Good luck to you and early congrats! [name]Hope[/name] you pick a name you and hubby love!
I love [name]Cora[/name] and [name]India[/name]. Have you considered [name]Lilia[/name]? It’s a combination of the classic [name]Lily[/name] with the less popular, spunky edge. [name]Lilia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be beautiful.
After looking at your list randomly came up with [name]Freya[/name] [name]Jane[/name] & [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Both[/name] beautiful.
Thanks so much for all of the fantastic suggestions! Hubby has now decided that he is torn between [name]Freya[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]. I have always loved the name [name]India[/name] but I’m just not sure if it “goes” with our boys names or if that even matters, hmmm lots consider! Please keep the suggestions coming, I love them all!!
I like [name]Cora[/name]. I think it works great with your sons’ names. You could double up on your middle name choices, too: [name]Cora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] Lastname. The variation in syllables makes this pleasant-sounding. Good luck with your decision. (I know how you feel–I’m about to give birth any day now and my babe’s middle name is still up in the air.)
