This is a name I find fascinating. It’s related to the beloved [name_f]Bella[/name_f] yet much less popular. It’s the name of a [name_m]Roman[/name_m] goddess of war.
Thoughts?

ooh I really like it!! It adds a great spunk to [name_f]Bella[/name_f].
I personally don’t like that she’s a goddess of war. Well, the goddess part is cool, but the war part isn’t.
The sound of [name_f]Bellona[/name_f] reminds me of baloons.
I do like that it is similar too [name_f]Bella[/name_f] but with a twist.
To be honest, it reminds me of Bologna I prefer [name_f]Mellona[/name_f] and other [name_m]Roman[/name_m] goddess names like [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], [name_f]Rosmerta[/name_f] and [name_f]Pomona[/name_f].
I want to like this, but when I say it out loud I can’t get away from baloney—[name_m]Even[/name_m] though the spelling is completely different.
I love the sound! I typically shy away from goddess names and warlike meanings, but the meaning is really cool for other people!
I do think bologna sadly
How is this pronounced? If it’s [name_u]Bell[/name_u]-on-ah I think it’s beautiful.
Bellona could grow on me perhaps, I’m not sure
I like it when written down. But unfortunately said out loud it’s too close to bologna for me if you live in a country though where bologna isn’t popular food item (is there a place like that? Idk) I think it could be a beautiful name.
I adore it, but friends and family say it sounds too much like baloney
I ditto [name_f]Mayim[/name_f] but also want to add how much more complete it feels.
It sounds exactly like bologna in my accent…
I quite like it! It gives me the same vibe as [name_f]Belladonna[/name_f].
Pretty! But I do prefer [name_f]Belladonna[/name_f].
