Down to the wire here and need some advice. I like the meaning and solidness of Benjamin but the uniqueness of Camden and the nn Cam. Middle name will be Anderson and last name is 1 syllable and starts with a C. There are pro’s and con’s to each. Want to see what strangers think and the associations they make when they hear either of these names. Thank you in advance!
I prefer the softness of [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and I like it better in general but with the middle [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] and a c surname, [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] probably flows best - it depends how important that is to you

I prefer [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]!
I really like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], the name and the meaning!
Our very good friends have a little boy named [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. They always call him [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] but we call him [name_m]Benji[/name_m]. [name_u]Camden[/name_u] is also very sweet. You could always wait to meet him and see what feels right.
I prefer [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
I do like both, but I prefer [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. [name_u]Camden[/name_u] isn’t really “unique”, but it is far less used than [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. I also am of the opinion that [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] sounds better than [name_u]Camden[/name_u] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] (too many repeating sounds to my ear).
I love both names, but [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is one of my all time favorites, so my vote goes to [name_m]Ben[/name_m]. [name_u]Cam[/name_u] is so sweet though, I really don’t think you can go wrong either way!
I like both names but I don’t like the sound of [name_u]Camden[/name_u] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], the am and an sound similar enough to my ear that it just sounds a little funky.
I’m also in the [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] camp because of it’s sound and flow. For nicknames there’s also [name_u]Jamie[/name_u], [name_u]Jem[/name_u] and [name_m]Jim[/name_m].
I vote [name_u]Camden[/name_u]!
And even though when paired with [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] there’s a repeat of end-sounds, you really rarely use the child’s middle name when speaking his name, so if you like [name_u]Camden[/name_u], and the nn [name_u]Cam[/name_u], go for it! ( and I personally like the sound of [name_u]Camden[/name_u] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m]). Good luck!
I like both, but I prefer [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. I think it works on everyone.
