Benjamin or Peter? And middle suggestions?

What do you think of these names… [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or [name_m]Peter[/name_m]? Brothers are [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Louis[/name_m].
Would also appreciate any suggestions for middles with either option xx

Both names work well with your son’s names, [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] just wins out for me due to NN options.

MN ideas (could always mix & match), although I do think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] or [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] go great together. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] it helps

[name_f]Love[/name_f] both! [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is my favorite due to the literary connections, but [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is great as well. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is significantly more popular right now in my area (and looks to be somewhat similar in Australia) if that plays a role in your decision. I also think [name_m]Peter[/name_m] works slightly better with brothers’ names. I actually know a [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] if you’re willing to combine for middle names.

Other suggestions:

I like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] better personally.
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m] might be a good combo.

Both work well but [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] just has the edge for me. I like the solidity of it, the nickname potential, and the soft but strong sounds!

I like [name_m]Peter[/name_m]! [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] just seems so popular, especially with all the other [name_m]Ben[/name_m]- names out there that are trendy.

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Jude[/name_m]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Milo[/name_m]

I prefer Benjamin. It’s a great name!

Peter is good too. I’ve just never cared for it.

Oh both are lovely! I like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] slightly more with [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Louis[/name_m] I think, but I like [name_m]Peter[/name_m] more in general and like that he is less common than [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (at least here). I would love to meet a [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or a [name_m]Peter[/name_m]!

Good luck!

Both would work really well. I’d probably go for [name_m]Peter[/name_m], but that’s because I know [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] would get shortened to [name_m]Ben[/name_m] where I am. I like the full [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], but not [name_m]Ben[/name_m]. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is less likely to get a nickname, I think.

I was all set to suggest [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m], and then realised why those 2 names go together - because of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Rabbit and [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] (from the [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] books). It’s totally a non-issue, but that’s what I thought of.

Not knowing what [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and Louis’ middle names are, I would suggest using something that feels similar to their middles (eg family names, surname names, trendy names, classic names etc).

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] :100:

Middle suggestions: [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] or [name_m]George[/name_m] maybe

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] gets my vote. If I’d had another son, I was going to call him [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. It’s a good solid name that isn’t overly popular. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is a good combo!

I have a [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m], and it’s been a no regrets name. I also like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], but I’ve not yet run into another [name_m]Peter[/name_m]!

Does meaning matter to you?

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] are two names that I love so much for a boy! I’m crazy about [name_m]Peter[/name_m] since I was a since, but recently, I’ve leaned more towards [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. I really like that [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is easy to use in multiple languages and has a handful of great nicknames.
It’s a difficult choice, but today, my vote goes to [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is underused nowadays. It’s a very handsome, regal, charming choice. Timeless, friendly and distinct.
I adore [name_m]Peter[/name_m] with Thom@s and Loui$.

I would suggest:

[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Eugene[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]

both are very cute but also sophisticated. there giving me big rabbit vibes because of peter rabbit! personally I prefer benjamin because peter is a bit more outdated. either way though they are lovely names and work wonderfully with brothers names. some combos:

benjamin jude
benjamin hayes
benjamin theodore
benjamin declan
benjamin griffin
benjamin wyatt
