WDYT of [name]Bernadette[/name] with NN [name]Etta[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you think it is vintage enough to use or just to dated and old? Does [name]Etta[/name] liven it up or is it still too old? Does [name]Bernadette[/name] fit?
To me, no, [name]Bernadette[/name] doesn’t really fit! Sorry. It has always seemed so geeky and old-lady to me… I can’t help thinking of a cranky grandma, or the [name]Bernadette[/name] on The Big Bang [name]Theory[/name]! [name]Etta[/name] is so cute and fits perfectly with your list, but I would find a different name with the nn, sorry. If you really love it, maybe use it as a MN?
Oh, I really like this name. I know it’s not a big favorite here, but I love it. I think the nickname, [name]Etta[/name], is perfect. The lack of cute nicknames was really my biggest turn-off with this name ([name]Bernie[/name] just wasn’t doing it for me…) but [name]Etta[/name] sounds so updated and fresh.
Yes, it’s really the ‘[name]Bern[/name]’ part of the name that I don’t find very appealing. I even know a nice girl in her mid 20’s with this name and this still hasn’t swayed me on it. [name]Etta[/name] is lovely, however.
