[name]Hi[/name] All, I love the name [name]Berrie[/name] or [name]Berry[/name] for a girl as i think its so cute and pretty! I have never heard of any other girl with this name and am wondering if its because its too far out there or if its not so outrageous after all? If you met a little girl called [name]Berry[/name]/[name]Berrie[/name], would you think ‘my god poor child, what have her parents called her?’ lol! All opinions gratefully received to help me with this one!! Thanks xxx
[name]Berrie[/name]/[name]Berry[/name] is cute - on a girl not a grown woman. It would be an adorable nn for a [name]Bernice[/name], [name]Bernadette[/name], [name]Berit[/name], [name]Berlin[/name], [name]Bertille[/name] or [name]Beryl[/name]. The only name I wouldn’t recommend is [name]Bertha[/name].
[name]Ah[/name] yes, good idea [name]Mischa[/name]…didnt really think about using it as a nn but that would work! I suppose then there would be a more ‘grown up’ name to revert to later on! Thanks for the reply!
I also like it as a nickname for longer, more grown up names.

I like the idea of [name]Berrie[/name] for a nn for a girl. I"d stay away from [name]Berry[/name] since it’s so close to the male name [name]Barry[/name] to me.
My daughter’s name is Bérénice and I call her [name]Berry[/name] or B for short.
It fits here perfectly as she was born with a cute little red birthmark on her bottom that looks like a strawberry.
