I’m torn because I love how meaningful it is to you… but it is all “semen” to me, and that’s not something I’m sure would be usable… at least as a first name.

I didn’t read it as semen, and still don’t see it. Judging from the other reactions here people might misread it but they’d figure it out pretty immediately - how likely is it that someone would actually be named Semen? And it’s a completely different sound so wouldn’t be an issue most of the time.
As for the name itself, I love the personal meaning it has for you (and Sennen [name_m]Cove[/name_m] is gorgeous, such a lovely part of Cornwall). The sound and style fit in with current trends so although it’s different, I doubt it would get too many strange looks. I say go for it if you really love it, and if the spelling puts you off then it would make a great middle name too.
I see in your signature you always have [name_u]Tate[/name_u] - which is a personal favorite of mine for a boy.
Too bad they weren’t a fan of [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. Such a great, strong boys names.
