Which do you like best? Our boy is due any day and we still don’t have a definitive name. Any other name suggestions or suggestions on a spelling for [name]Teagan[/name].
[name]Tobin[/name] [name]Clay[/name] Axner ([name]Do[/name] you think everyone will call him [name]Tobin[/name]? I like [name]Tobin[/name], but not [name]Toby[/name] so much)
[name]Brody[/name] [name]Klay[/name] Axner
[name]Teagan[/name] [name]Clay[/name] Axner
If I met a [name]Tobin[/name], I’d call him that. It’s only two syllables which is the same as [name]Toby[/name].
I much prefer the [name]Clay[/name] spelling for the middle name. Also, [name]Teagan[/name] is totally feminine to me because of the popular girl band, [name]Tegan[/name] and [name]Sara[/name].
If he went by [name]Tobin[/name], then I’d call him [name]Tobin[/name].
I think of [name]Teagan[/name] as more of a feminine name, probably because as peppersprout pointed out, the band [name]Tegan[/name] and [name]Sara[/name].
Personally I prefer the combos of [name]Tobin[/name] [name]Clay[/name] and [name]Brody[/name] [name]Klay[/name] (though I prefer [name]Clay[/name] over [name]Klay[/name] spelling). Although, I think [name]Brody[/name] [name]Teagan[/name] Axner works as well.
I always call people by their full names unless told to use a nickname, so I’d call [name]Tobin[/name] by [name]Tobin[/name].
I choose [name]Tobin[/name] [name]Clay[/name]. [name]Tobin[/name] is very handsome and cool and I love it!
[name]Tobin[/name] is my favourite first name on your list. I think the [name]Clay[/name] spelling looks better as well. The only issue I have with a name ending in “n” is that it runs into your “A” surname (Tobinaxner). I’ve not heard [name]Teagan[/name] for a boy (on other websites all the Teagans are girls). I’m not a fan of [name]Brody[/name]. Here are some other suggestions.

I’d go with [name]Tobin[/name] [name]Clay[/name]. I’m not a big fan of [name]Clay[/name] because to me it’s just something you use in art. I really like [name]Tobin[/name], though. I know that [name]Teagan[/name] is a unisex name, but I’ve known about 5 Teagans and all have been girls. I can’t actually picture it on a boy.
I am not a big fan of [name]Clay[/name] either - hubby really wants it to be [name]Clarence[/name] after his grandpa. I dislike [name]Clarence[/name] way too much though, and we settled on [name]Clay[/name] short for [name]Clarence[/name]. If we went with a B name though, I want [name]Clay[/name] with a K because then me and baby will have the same initials. I didn’t realize [name]Teagan[/name] was thought of as such a girl’s name, good to know.
I like [name]Tobin[/name] and [name]Brody[/name], but [name]Brody[/name] is by far my favorite! [name]Brody[/name]'s also the most popular, though, if that bothers you… [name]Just[/name] out of curiosity, why would you spell [name]Clay[/name] with a “K” for [name]Brody[/name], but not the other two names? I think [name]Brody[/name] [name]Clay[/name] is much better, personally, but that’s just me…
Good luck!
ETA: Sorry, just saw your comment about the BK initials, which I can totally respect. I do still prefer [name]Clay[/name], though…
I read a historical book series when I was growing up (the name of the series has escaped me now), and there was a main character named [name]Clarence[/name]. He was called [name]Clare[/name] by every one. [name]How[/name] do you feel about that middle name? It’s spelled differently than the feminine version of [name]Claire[/name].
I would use [name]Tobin[/name] or [name]Brody[/name], but spell it [name]Clay[/name] not [name]Klay[/name] in the middle
