We picked the name [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and have been referring to her as that for 4 weeks, but oh is now backtracking saying he thinks it will be shortened to ‘Ju’ which he doesn’t like…

He has now said he would possibly like a name starting with E instead.

What are the nicest E names you can think of? Preferably unusual/uncommon please :slight_smile:

First off, I don’t think [name_f]Juno[/name_f] will be always shortened to Ju, especially if you (or herself latter) don’t introduce her that way.

I know! I think it’s stupid personally but I’m trying to humour him and see if I can find an E name that I love as much.

I don’t see why it would be shortened to Ju at all. Maybe [name_u]June[/name_u], but it probably wouldn’t be shortened as it’s short already. Plus you can never predict nicknames!

[name_f]Elara[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]/a, [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f], [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] were all on my old list. I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] but they are too similar to my sons name unfortunately. [name_f]Elysia[/name_f] is nice!

I don’t think the nickname Ju with [name_f]Juno[/name_f] would be a problem. Only calling her Ju as a shortened version as opposed to introducing her as Ju, seems perfectly fine!
