What is the best name from your child’s classmates this school year?

[name_f]My[/name_f] 3.5 year old just got a new classmate named [name_u]Joan[/name_u], which I am just dying over. [name_u]Joan[/name_u]!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

[name_u]Joan[/name_u] is one of those names that I don’t think that I really like, however, I’d be absolutely delighted to meet a pre-schooler named that. :grin:

I’m not parent, but I’m a nanny to a second grade girl. I went w/her to her school picnic yesterday, & there were siblings named [name_u]Frannie[/name_u] & [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. How cute is that sib-set?!

I quite like Solomiya from my son’s class.
There’s also a [name_u]Lou[/name_u] (boy), which I think is nice.

Re: Joan, I would never have considered it for my own kids, but I was absolutely tickled when I met this little girl and sort of struck by the name anew!

That is lovely!! It’s reminding me of Pommeline, which I’ve seen a bunch recently on autumnal name lists.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and Tesmin, and there is one name I just have to mention, I never heard it before. It’s Aribah. :relaxed:

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Willow[/name_u]! It always seemed like a character name to me (as opposed to an actual person) but it’s been really growing on me recently. Might even list it! :laughing:

[name_m]Little[/name_m] girl in my son’s class named [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] but goes by [name_m]Mac[/name_m], which I thought was cute!
