Best Rose- name to go with Adelaide?

I’ve been really taking a shine to the name [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] lately with at-home/childhood nickname Ladybug. I think a little [name_f]Wildrose[/name_f] would be the perfect sister for a Ladybug, but I have yet to settle on a full name. Middle name would likely be [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] so I can have the out-of-home nickname [name_f]Romy[/name_f].

Some I’ve considered:

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - I love, but I already have [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] as a combo elsewhere on my list. Is it weird to have a first name twice on a long list?

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Roseline[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - Stunning, but I do wonder if it looks too contrived? I’m partial to the pronunciation ROSE-uh-line, though Rose-uh-LEEN is also pretty.

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - I used to find [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] too prim, but it’s really starting to grow on me. [name_m]Not[/name_m] sure if I love it enough yet to go on my long list, but it has potential.

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosamonde[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - This is so romantic, but maybe too heavy for a baby girl? I’m also not sure of the horsey meaning and I haven’t fully landed on a spelling.

I think what I could use at this point is some fresh suggestions (any name with that strong [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sound) and/or votes of confidence on the ones I’ve been considering. Thank you so much!

I love [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] “Ladybug” and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] “Wildrose”!! [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] are also really sweet but my vote goes to [name_f]Primrose[/name_f].

some suggestions:
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Mayrose[/name_f]
Roisa
Idarose
[name_m]Rosemarie[/name_m] or [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosemay[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosaria[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosabella[/name_f]

hope this helps!!

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Roseline[/name_f] was my first thought before I even opened your suggestions - [name_f]Roseline[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is gorgeous!

[name_f]Roslyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Ambrosia[/name_f]
[name_f]Euphrosyne[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosaura[/name_f]
[name_f]Roshanara[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] best – both pretty, flowing and energetic. I don’t think it’s weird to repeat names on your list

Otherwise, I really like [name_f]Roseline[/name_f] – sharp, literary, elegant – and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] – sweet but sparky.

A few ideas…

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_m]Rosanna[/name_m] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosella[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Willa[/name_f] (twisting it up a bit but could still me [name_f]Romy[/name_f])

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] nn Ladybug is so darling! I love the whimsical, storybook feel, and I think [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] all fit beautifully.

I wouldn’t worry about having [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] twice on your list, either! I think it’s lovely to explore different combinations with a name you adore, and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is too pretty to discard just because you also love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Fox[/name_m].

[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] gets my vote for the most romantic option. I don’t find it too heavy for a little girl at all, especially with [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or [name_f]Wildrose[/name_f] as a nickname, and I actually love the idea of a little [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] growing into a grown-up [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. I slightly prefer this spelling to [name_f]Rosamonde[/name_f], which feels a little more elaborate to me. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is lovely too, although I agree that it has a slightly more whimsical, literary feel as it has the Hunger [name_m]Games[/name_m] associations, and does already come with other nicknames ‘Prim’, ‘Rose’ and ‘Rosie’.

More ideas: [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosabel[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosaria[/name_f], [name_m]Rosanna[/name_m], or [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosette[/name_f]? I particularly love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], as it has a lovely vintage warmth and gives you so many nickname options.

My vote would be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], followed closely by [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] feel like sisters with a shared romantic style, without being overly matchy, and Ladybug and [name_f]Romy[/name_f] are the sweetest nicknames!
