Nameberry is definitely my favorite site for browsing names and meanings, but I also love looking at the social security website for popularity in the USA. I would love to see similar data from other countries but I don’t know where to look! Help me! Let me know where you all find name data so I can be even more obsessive!

behindthename has a lot of popularity statistics for quite a few countries. Otherwise, if you want a certain countries data, you can Google it, but not all countries keep name statistics.
I like Ourbabynamer’s name popularity feature because it takes the SSA data but goes beyond the top 1000 names. So you can see a name’s popularity even when it wasn’t in the top 1000. It’s handy when there’s a name you like that’s NEVER been in the top 1000 and you want to track its use. You can also compare names’ popularity.
Hey Berries! I know how old this thread is, but I wasn’t sure where to put this discovery. I definitely agree that Nameberry is the best (and my favorite) site to look up names, but I just found a YouTube channel of one site I used from before I found NB.
In addition to popularity and meanings, the site has a place where you can hear other users’ pronunciations of the name, and their YouTube channel puts all the pronunciations in a compilation. I just came across this video that they released today, and it includes my pronunciation of the name [name_u]Taran[/name_u] from about two years ago! This was back when [name_f]Tara[/name_f] was at the top of my girls’ list. 
Definitely didn’t expect this notification but absolutely love the info you shared! Thank you! Now I’ll be checking out this youtube channel all night long tonight!!
