Hello all, I’ve been planning out my first novel. Adventure with a pinch of romance.
As an aspiring writer, I find the most difficult part of the novel writing process naming characters. In my opinion, it’s the equivalent of naming a child, after all, these characters are your children. They become a part of you.
Below I will include useful character information. I’d like to know, based on a list of the names I’ve been toying with, what would fit him/her best.
Character #1: Male. [name_m]Young[/name_m] Adult. Adventurous, outdoorsy, intelligent, sarcastic, kind, courteous, sensitive, introverted. Caucasian. Tall, broad shouldered, lean hipped, but not overly muscular. A touch on the nerdy side. [name_m]Long[/name_m] hair, loose brown waves that end just below his chin. Thick eyebrows that frame his blue eyes. Freckles carefully painted over the bridge of his nose. Full lips
Potential Names: [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]/Wesson, [name_m]Irvine[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Brenton[/name_m]. Any suggestions?
Character #2: Female. [name_m]Young[/name_m] Adult. Introverted, sarcastic, witty, affectionate, stubborn, compassionate, rational. Caucasian. Average height, petite build. Naturally curly brown hair that just brushes her shoulders, angled so that the back is shorter than the front. A single forest green streak though her hair. [name_m]Brown[/name_m] doe eyes, bountiful eyelashes. Small nose. Plump lips.
Potential Names: [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_u]Raven[/name_u], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]. Any suggestions?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
